Laurie's Tailoring did such a phenomenal job on my dress! My grandmother gave me one of her vintage silk dresses, which while beautiful was not fitted and had a tendency to look baggy and unflattering. I was hesitant to take it to get altered given the delicate fabric and sentimental value, but decided to try Laurie's for the first time. The results were absolutely amazing - the dress has new life, was taken in perfectly for the shape, and she took such good care of it! The price was extremely fair and she was prompt and kind. 10/10 experience, will be taking everything to her from now on!

She has on several different occasions hemmed multiple pants for me, in addition to shortening a trench coat. Every alteration was perfect without flaw and she gave her opinion with each alteration.

Laurie is very responsive over text message and coordinating a time to drop off and pickup items has ever been easier.

She did a fabulous job with my MOB (mom of bride) dress. I brought my shoes during fitting since it was a floor length dress. Drape of dress and length was on point. Will use her for other alterations!!!!

Laurie did an amazing job on my bridesmaid dress. I called her last minute and she was able to accommodate me right away and tailored my dress in a weeks time Highly recommend Laurie if you are looking for a tailor.

I've gone to Laurie several times for various things, including altering a swimsuit top and tailoring my husband's tuxedo. She's done excellent work every time, and is really reasonably priced as well!

Laurie took care of my jacket sleeve alteration within a week for $45. Looks great!

I would be selfish if I didn't rant about how much I would recommend getting tailoring done here!! I'll preface with saying I have weird body proportions, so I am always in need of hemming pants or dresses, and it's usually always a last minute hemming in need! Whenever I need a hemming, I have Laurie on speed dial to hem my clothes. She's just a call away and usually is free the day I call to have me come in with my clothes to be hemmed! She's very quick with it, usually being able to get the clothes hemmed within the week!! Very flexible, efficient with time, and reasonable pricing!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Laurie is the best - she does such amazing work. I've taken dresses, skirts, shirts and pants to Laurie and she is incredible at everything. She's also extremely responsive, quick and wonderful to be around.

Laurie is everything you would want from a tailor - communicative, quick and effective, and fair priced.

From the beginning, she was great at communication. She was fast to respond on Yelp, and we switched over to text quickly, scheduling a next-day appointment. At the appointment, I was a bit slow to change and make decisions, but I felt Laurie was very thorough in asking and confirming what I wanted and patient with my decision-making.

I needed a wedding guest dress with 4 layers hemmed in the next month. I had misremembered and told her 2 layers in my original text, but she adjusted on the spot, and it was still a very reasonable price. She also helped me hold on to the dress while I was out of town for two weeks for the holidays. The dress came back hemmed like I had expected.

On top of all this, Laurie is super sweet. We had a conversation running for nearly thirty minutes, and it doesn't hurt that she was full of compliments!
