Great Beer selection and Pizzas. Had the Meathead....fantastic if you love pork, and I do.
The Service was great, even on the patio.
      Check them out!

      First to Review

The lunch specials were available at a great price, that's for sure. For my first time being here I really had no clue what I wanted to get so I went for the almond salad.

The food was okay, but it's my own fault for getting a salad when going somewhere for the first time... should have known better.

The waitress was very friendly as was the hostess. When our waitress asked us for bread we accepted and she brought out fresh bread with butter and oil to dip it in which was a nice surprise.

Overall good experience, might change the review if I have the chance to try some real food.. Had I gotten a grinder or pizza I probably would have been a lot happier.

I was in here just after the ownership change and was unimpressed but it looks like Bill has figured things out and is on his way to having a nice restaurant.
My wife and I sat outside on a beautiful night and enjoyed a drink while listening to nice music, at the right volume too.
The food was very good and prepared as requested.
Give Bill a try and I think you'll find a nice neighborhood place to hang out.

Hand-shaved roasted and simmered southern Philly cheese steak sandwich on Wednesday nights for $5. Plus a heap of potato fries. Amazing. Chef Bill worked as a Whitehouse chef under Bill and George W. too. All homemade salad dressings won me over. Plus the veggie sandwiches. I'm in. Almost forgot. ...really good beers on tap.

This place deserves more positive reviews.

An interesting atmosphere with an even more interesting pairing of food. The Fat Tomato is worth your visit.

Rarely do people enjoy change, but the changes at the Fat Tomato have been good ones. The simplified menu now showcases the items that were worth eating on the menu before. Quality is better than quantity.

I would also like to mention that the staffing is superb. They know the menu and will go check on something if they are not sure.

My husband and I stopped for supper. The food was quite adequately prepared for the price and the home fries servings huge.
However Fat Tomato needs to choose which clientele they are serving. We were seated close to the bar which had very noisy patrons. Not pleasant.

Was very disappointed in the good quality... Ordered calamari and came in a very nice presentation but lacked flavor and all the breading had fallen off and was at the bottom of the bowl. Ordered Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo and was given pasta with huge I mean huge pieces of chicken that I had to cut then the Alfredo sauce was lacking the creaminess and sort of lumped up!! Overall will not be returning

Should of been a tad nervous when I read the sign!

Food was excellent. Tomato Basil soup was thick & tasty. Pear, brie, jelly bruschetta was fresh & tasty. Service was a bit slow, however food was prepared after placed order. Will give Fat Tomato a 5 star. Too bad it is located a long way from VA.

The calamari did not taste good: the breading had weak flavor and fell off of the cold rubber calamari. The appetizer fries were not prepared as described in the menu. I was charged more for drinks then the price on the menu. My sons food was never brought out. The way the manager addressed this was by asking if we 'really' did not get the hamburger.
