Went for breakfast. I ordered potato pancakes with sausages . Service was very good and the three of us got exactly what we ordered. Pancakes were excellent and HUGE! Quantity of food is generous so be hungry when you go. Coffee was tasty and refilled twice. Nice place, nice people.

We used to be regulars here, but over time the quality of food and service has really gone down. Portions of hash browns are huge, but often the main platter is smaller. The prices are high for the quality, especially compared to the newer restaurants in town. There's no internet, or cell reception - if you ask you'll get a smug "we want people to be able to talk" - so don't expect to be able to come here to eat and work at the same time, or be able to look anything up while you're there. The cocktails and fish fry are also not worth your money, there are much better places to go around town. Overall, we've started avoiding, especially because the prices are high for the service and food quality.

Fantastic home cooking breakfast. Portions are huge. Biscuits, pancakes are a must. Bacon, sausage and kielbasa are amazing. Service is great.

This was one of the best breakfasts I've had. So much food and the pancakes had a slightly unique but delicious flavor. Not to mention they are huge!! Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Decor was cozy with country charm.

You can't go wrong with the giant pancakes. I love the rib eye sandwich for lunch - it's the steak! With au jus. The staff is kind and the food is reliably delicious. 3x/week- it was our go to place from work.

This was our 2nd time here and it was just as good as we remembered. This is your typical diner type location with a large menu and large portions. They always have a good special menu with lots of options not on their normal menu. When in Shawano, this is must with a Sun Drop.

Staple of quality family dinning in the Shawano area. Pancakes are the size of a tractor tire as they call them. Buyer beware, your going to have to ask for more syrup a few time!

First Friday of Lent, you just have to head for a fish fry with the folks. Hey I don't make the rules I just follow them.

So we headed in ordered the dinner... And the fish were amazing, great breading large flakey chunks of fried goodness.

The meal was incredible. But even better was the server. On the receipt it said her name was "Jersey" and this Garden State lady was the best server we have had outside a 5 star joint.

Our beverages were refilled before they were empty. I was low on ketchup and it magically appeared. Even better she had a fantastic attitude, terrific sense of humor and just freaking nice.

We will ask for section every time we come back!
