109 Family Restaurant

New owner has not helped this place. Many items no longer on salad bar. Added "one trip" option for salad bar, but bowl is only option, so it's like a side salad. No club crackers, etc. priced increased, so less food and higher costs. Sadly, won't be coming back here again in the near future. Very disappointed!

I can't even give a star. But, I have to give at least one. The place is always dirty, the always, always flies flying around. The only good thing there is the salad bar. The food is very bland. The roast beef looks like it's already been chewed up spit out, it's disgusting.

Good down home cooking and plenty of it. Very well established and a must stop each time i visit Portland.

What a great restaurant, awesome tasting food with fast friendly service. My wife and I really enjoyed our meal.

Always love seeing my most favorite waitress when I, myself, and thy family go in. Very reasonable in price as well. Love, love, love, their menu always have a great taste in music playing as well!

On a quick travel stop, we were looking for a spot other than fast food, something we wouldn't find near home. We saw the menu and decided to try the place. To be honest, it looked a little sketchy but it didn't take more than five minutes to figure out it was a cute, quaint southern restaurant. The food came out quick and was delicious, tasted like a home cooked meal with love. The menu had an amazing variety it was so hard to choose from, we ended up with the patty melt, club, and the Sunday special, a good variety and we loved every bit of it. The service was quick and everyone working was unbelievably nice. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. On the outside, as I said, the restaurant looked a little run down, but inside it was clean and just a cute southern restaurant. If we are ever in the area again I will be returning. Definitely recommend this place.

Food is decent, service is good. Definitely worth a stop for if you want that restaurant style "home cooking" aka cafeteria food

This restaurant has gone down hill since the new owner took it over. The food prices had gone up and the quality of food is sometimes not so good.

This is the best family friendly restaurant around. The food is wonderful, and at a great price. I come for the meat and 3 almost everyday for lunch. A lot of good memories have been made with family around the dinner table at 109.

Everyone saying they have great prices must not have been there recently. They did have great prices up until about 4 years ago, but they have risen drastically. Dinners used to include the salad bar but don't anymore. The salad bar is as fresh as any I've had, but not very big. Service is usually good. I don't go during peak hours because they are very busy and there can be a wait. They also aren't open for dinner a few days a week anymore, including Sunday which is a bummer. Very good soft serve ice cream.
