Came here not knowing what to expect and was absolutely in love leaving!
Got the lamb shack special and it was soo tender. The rice and veggies were so well seasoned that I could have just had them and been fully satisfied.
The service is very fast and very welcoming.
I went for lunch, so it got crowded pretty quickly but very fast service!

I really enjoyed my falafel sandwich and stuffed grape leaves. The grape leaves were warm, different from the cold ones I've had at other restaurants. I did not care for the pudding.

There are only a few tables inside, but it wasn't busy during lunchtime. The staff were very nice.

Several pictures of the Dome of the Rock; Qur'an playing in the background. Nowhere to lock my bike in front of the restaurant, so I had to walk over to the next street.

The food is fresh and delicious. The service is exceptional and very friendly. I ordered a shish tawook (cubes of grilled chicken) platter (shown here without rice). As I waited I could see them making it fresh to order with lots of care. I haven't been able to make it back yet but I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The minute we entered the place, we felt the warmth of the staff. Even the owner made a stop and greeted us and offered suggestions. We tried the shanks special with rice and vegetables. Also got an order of falafel with tahini and ordered red lintel soup. They offered us a nice warm pita. We will be back to try another item on the menu. Thank you for the hospitality and the great food.

I don't know how this place has such a high rating. The container for the tabouli salad was half empty. The Mazzah appetizer didn't come with everything separated so everything was mushed together in one container. The mixed grilled platter was supposed to have beef, chicken and lamb but was missing the lamb. The extra pita isn't even fresh, it was a bag that you buy from the grocery store. The spinach and cheese pie smelled like body odor and was soggy. The baklava w pistaschio and the knafeh were the best parts of the whole meal but you weren't able to tell which was which - one was overly dry and one was overly moist.

The mazzah platter has everything just thrown in like pig slop

GO HERE. This quaint shop was stumbled upon while we were here visiting Ulysses Grant's burial place.

The prices are amazing for the quantity received. And the quality is superb!

The gyro sandwich was filled in a pita pocket. So much succulent, tender meat, lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers, and loaded with creamy and tangy sauces.

The falafel sandwich was the same just substituting gyro with soft and fresh falafels.

Their French fries are awesome. Fried really well and seasoned beautifully. So crispy yet fluffy on the inside!

Incredible what quality food you can find here on the Upper West Side!

Wow falafel on Broadway is amazingly delicious. "Ridiculously amazing" per my husband.
We wish We had tried it sooner!
We had the Mixed Grill Plate w lamb chicken and beef (all cooked super well and very flavorful!) which came a divine sauce and yummy rice, the Falafel Sandwich combo (w fries and a soda for $9.99) we also had the falafel appetizer w tahini - and they gave us extra falafel!

All very delicious, filling, quality healthy food.

Also, i suggest you call them or order from their website, we initially tried to order through uber eats and our estimates delivery was 60 minutes despite living 10 min from here, so I just called them instead and our food was at our door in 20 minutes flat. Very good service!

Very affordable and delicious. The falafel taste amazing with the tatziki sauce. The mixed grill platter is huge and the lamb was the best one imo. The salad that goes with it was super fresh.

Everything we got was delicious - falafel sandwich, baba ganoush, spinach pie, & coconut semolina cake. Lots of plant based vegan and vegetarian options. Pricing and portions were perfect. Highly recommend!

Be very careful here. First I ordered a falafel in a pita. The person prepared and overcharged me for a falafel in a bowl. I never said the word bowl. I clearly said in a pita. Next he tried to give me a tiny pita bread. I paid him the overcharged amount and walked out taking nothing. He kept saying I said bowl when I didn't even know what a falafel in a bowl is and I clearly said in a pita. I hope they gave the food to some homeless person. Be careful when you shop here and I will never order from them again.
