This place seems like a place you take rowdy kids for sports tournaments. I was in town for my grandparent's 80th birthday and picked this place because it was convenient. Lots of running and screaming kids. Breakfast was sub par even for hotel breakfast food.
The deadbolt to my door was broken. To their credit they had a very friendly maintenance man come to fix it within the hour.
Overall the room was dirty. The wallpaper and carpet was stained in numerous places. There was a black hair wrapped around the shampoo bottle that's bolted to the wall in the shower. No toiletries except a bar of soap and the shampoo/conditioner attached to the wall in the shower.
The AC/heat worked well and the staff was kind.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chrissy L.Statesville, NC443121Aug 20, 2023
I checked in August 7th. It was around 3pm, and I got to my room and wanted to take a nap. I pulled the sheets back to reveal this nasty stain on the sheet. I called the front desk, and was told "sorry there's no housekeeper available". I asked to be moved and was told she couldn't do that. She said she would let the GM know in the morning and he'd reach out to me. Upon my check out on the 11th, the manager did not reach out to me. Nothing was done.

We have stayed here 5 or 6 times over the past 10 years...
This last stay was not good.
Marriott should take note ASAP.
I can't recommend this property.
It was dirty and looks dilapidated. Weird stains and weird smells.
Walking in, the staff at the main desk are using copypaper boxes as work stations. That's such a weird and bad optic. Your employee's desks are re-purposed boxes? THAT is a bad sign.
In my room, the main HVAC control had a weid piece of orange duct tape with the hand-written words "DoeS nOt cOntrOl AC! UsE wAll." What the actual hell is that?
Coming back from meetings and lunch for a few hours 0 a staff member was randomly dipping out of my room... very odd. Not room service, just a random employee in a mask with soap bottles. SUPER sussy...
This place is a disaster.
I'd avoid it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Chuck V.Tallmadge, OH142Aug 16, 2023
A little dated in my opinion. Looked clean at first glance but on deeper look, blood on the comforter and evidence of water leak in the bathroom. Wet drywall and rust behind door where someone didn't think noticeable. In room refrigerator was leaking water and soaked my diabetic pens.
Fair deal for the price but in need of. Little TLC.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenni J.Naperville, IL7010Sep 28, 2023
Room smelled HORRIBLE--like mold and dog urine. Many other reviews say the same. Avoid.

Hate to give a Marriott property a low rating, but wow, this one is deserved. Was up in the Columbus area visiting family and as a loyal Marriott member, I chose the Fairfield Inn & Suites. I wish I had chosen a different property.
When we walked in, the staff were "wearing" masks, but only in the "chin diaper" fashion, with them barely covering their mouths, and leaving their noses exposed. Whatever your take is on mask-wearing aside, Marriott wants these guys wearing them, and they arguably were not. Staff also seemed fine with guests roving around the hotel without masks on, all of the door signs and stuff to the contrary. Housekeeping also not wearing them - not a good start. Desk staff were helpful and pleasant though.
Now the biggest drawback - room was FILTHY. So incredibly gross that even if I wasn't worried about the coronavirus, I still wouldn't have wanted to touch anything in the room. Sticky stuff on the desks, marks and gross looking stuff on the walls, a big gross poop-looking stain on the couch, and what I'm pretty sure was a sexual bodily fluid splashed on the closet door. Just amazingly disgusting, and far below the usual standard I am used to at a Marriott property. Pictures attached to prove it (view at your own risk).
Like I previously said, I wish I had chosen a different property. I travel a lot, and I have stayed at "budget" motels that were cleaner and better kept up. You would think with the decrease in hotel occupancy due to the coronavirus, these guys would have had some time to do a deep cleaning of the property. Would not recommend nor stay again. Marriott, take note of this property; needs some serious work.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ary K.Paradise Valley Village, Phoenix, AZ13112Sep 3, 2022
Will be scratching this off the list of places to stay again. The room is very dated, which is fine, if it was cleaned well. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and so worn down that you sink into the middle. The comforter has stains all over it from who knows what. The bathroom has built up gunk in the corners, the shower wall has yellow-brown drip stains that need to be cleaned. We asked for new towels and two of them were dirty already with orange greasy looking spots.
Prior to leaving for the day we asked the woman at the front desk if she can make sure our room gets cleaned, she proceeded to answer a phone call in the middle of our conversation, didn't bother to put them on a brief hold but whispered for us to hold on, decided to say she got our request and when we came back after being out ALL DAY the room wasn't even taken care of. $4 for one bottle of water - even as a Platinum Elite. Wow. I've been ripped off for water before but not this much and not at a hotel where I'm a frequent user.

Come on. I stay at lots of Marriotts and it amazes me when some are just so far behind the others. This room needs to be updated. Old stained sofa, old small TVs, uncomfortable bed. It just looks like a room you'd expect at a Days Inn not a Marriott property.
I have ambassador status with Marriott. When the hotel is empty and nicer rooms are available I shouldn't have to ask and argue about upgrades. The desk clerk said she only came in at 3:00 pm and the room was pre-assigned. I made my reservation at 4:49 pm.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sharon P.UT, UT012Jun 12, 2023Updated review
Comfortable, clean, affordable. This hotel was perfectly located and reasonably priced for our weekend stay in the area. Breakfast here is plentiful. They even offered gluten free options in request.

Plenty of room to eat, even with a lot of guests. I took advantage of their gluten free breakfast options and appreciated that. The hot tub was relaxing- the entire pool area was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and they took care of our request for extra pillows and towels.
