Fairfax Nail Salon

This is definitely a nail salon to be loyal to. David is great! He always works with my schedule and is very professional. I only stopped going here since I moved away. I was never picky on who did my nails at this salon because all the employees do a really good job!

I went to this salon for over five years and recommended them to countless people but their service has taken a nose dive. I think it's a mixture of lack of staffing and being overbooked, but my last three appointments have been close to an hour late!
I work around the clock and have back to back appointments, so I found myself changing all appointments for the rest of my day. There is no apologies, until you are seated and your receiving the service.

The pedicures have been rushed, my toes were barely cut, they either skip the leg massage of barely scrape the bottom of your feet. My pedicures are not lasting more than 2.5 weeks and that's if I'm lucky. Time to move on.

This place is a hidden gem in Marin. They do the absolute best manicures and pedicures. Clean, professional, always kind and quick. My gel manicures last 4 weeks. I've even taken my 5-year old for a princess manicure and she had the best time. Suggest calling ahead to make an appointment. Everyone is great but I personally love working with David.

Polite, efficient service in clean surroundings. I've been here a couple of times already and plan to continue, as it's an easy local place for good mani-pedi's.

I went in for a gel manicure removal and they used an electric nail file to grind off the polish. Typically it is just the first layer of polish that is removed this way, and then acetone is applied to remove the remaining layer of gel. However, the electric file was used for the whole process and much of my natural nail was removed. My nails are now very fragile with clear ridges in my nail bed. Was $20.

Yes. I'm serious. They did this to my toe. The worst part? She was going back for seconds like it was free ribs at the Golden Corral. I didn't stick around to see what Ol' Texas Chainsaw had in store next. Maybe the cubicle? God help us all.

Love this place. Super friendly and very much a neighborhood kinda place. Call ahead as they are often booked in advance.
