F. Ottomanelli Burgers & Belgian Fries

A butcher shop serving fresh burgers, fries and yes even steaks by the ounce. You know for sure the meat is absolutely fresh and they do cook everything you order to perfection. They even have burger and steak lunch special which is an absolute steal. They also offer dining in area where table service is provided and the employees are just a delight.

This establishment has been in the Woodside community forever but really exploded in widespread popularity recently due to social media.

I can't wait to revisit for a juicy custom order by weight steak.

I came here after hearing that the butcher shop would cook a cut of your choice and serve it to you for no extra cost.

The shop is essentially a 2 in 1: the butcher shop and the burger shop are connected, and share a seating area in the middle.

Frank (the owner) was super friendly and helped us decide on a cut (we ended up picking the t-bone). All their steaks are USDA Prime and dry-aged for 30 days. He asked the doneness that we wanted and then sent it off to the kitchen to be cooked while we took a seat.

We ordered some sides from the burger side, which were ok but nothing mind blowing. The truffle fries were the perfect thickness but not truffley at all. I'd skip the mushrooms next time, it's pretty much just a plate of basic satuted mushrooms. They also give you bread and salad for free, which was nice.

The steak came out relatively fast - it had a really nice crust on it but the various pieces were definitely a little bit varying in doneness, so if you have people who are adverse to eating slightly more rare meat than medium rare, I'd order a medium just in case. I wish there was a bit more salt but in general the steak itself was delicious, and I really enjoyed the idea of being able to pick out my steak before eating it (kind of like a fancy Texas Roadhouse)

Honestly, an amazing burger! Literally no complaints about the food and would TOTALLY recommend this place to anyone in the area, especially for a quick bite or something easy. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they're advertising one price, but charging a different one (the staff did correct this when we brought it up). With that in mind, would still go back because the food is great and the portion size was definitely worth it. They also have a great amount of seating!

Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was really busy. Found the place on tiktok and thought we'd check out there $18.99 flat iron steak lunch special.

Steak was ok. Wasn't exactly medium rare. Truffle fries was ok. Mushroom lacked flavor and wished it was sautéed in butter or something. I got the double butcher burger. The burger was under seasoned. However I would say it was hot, enough to almost burn my mouth.

Service was poor and we were told it's cuz the place blew up so they weren't use to the amount of customers. However, I saw a complaint about it from a review 8 months ago.

Lunch started off with me asking for bread and butter 10 min after ordering and sitting. I noticed they served it the couple next to us who was already done with their meal, so maybe that was for us and not them.

We asked for utensils 5-6 times. By the time we got it the food was a bit cold already. I was almost served a burger that wasn't mine, had to tell them. Was served fries without our truffle parm so we had to correct them. Was still waiting for my burger and the server came up to us asking if we were missing anything. The last thing that came to us was the salad from the lunch special and only came cuz we asked for it. Something to note, if you want water you'll have to ask for it.

I also heard another table complain how they have been there well before other people and others were served their food first.

If you're curious, definitely come during off hours so that maybe you'll have better service.

They forgot my chilli tonight and can't reach anyone? What to reimburse? Ottos chicken wasnt bad but not great

The Otto Chicken Burger was good but truthfully enjoyed the french fries better then the burger.

The service could of been better as place was empty and the cashier asked if we had a reservation. Weird question to ask when place was empty.

The ambiance felt like an old mob meat market store.

Disappointed... place needs a complete make over.
It's fairly expensive for the neighborhood.
The burgers themselves are nothings out of this world and the French fries are not great.
I've had better burgers and food at Five guys or shake shack.. for less money

Definitely going back , went for the steak lunch special and it was delicious one of the best steaks I have had , the owner was very nice , can't wait to bring the wife

First time trying Ottomanelli in Queens (Woodside) AND LOVED IT!!!! As a kid I went to their location in Yorkville and this one is no less delicious =P

Server is really slow.
Food itself might be ok but can't tell cuz the server gave me foods after it gets cold. It's a slow day but she kept the foods at the counter for no reason.
Couple of my friends told me the same experience.
