Extra Space Storage

I'm writing this review on behalf of myself, but more importantly, on behalf of Bradley Stordock, who actually is the customer at Extra Space storage, located at 13015 Canyon Rd E in Puyallup, WA. I came in with Bradley, at the first of the month (April 2024) RIGHT before Cindy was about to close down the office. BUT! even though, she obviously knew we were new customers, so we were going to need more than just a few minutes of her time, she still stayed after her closing time, to ensure Bradley was accommodated. Not to mention our reservation online, I ended up putting in the wrong information, but Cindy was still able to fix, EVERYTHING (kind of an understatement). Cindy was one of the best managers I've ever dealt with, in renting storage units. She was so friendly but still professional at the same time. Brad and I could tell, she meant business, but was still very impressionable and definitely left a good first impression with him. I think Cindy deserves to have some special recognition at how well she does her job!! If I could nominate her as the most likeable, compassionate, but professional storage manager, I WOULD!! Anyone should be able to tell that she gets your needs met, while trying to find the most affordable rate she can offer someone. (Specifically, she was able to offer Bradley the online rate, which was significantly less than the normal rate for the unit he was needing, which was a particular sized unit. She only had 1 left, and she got Bradley in it, despite him not having his debit card on him right then, to be able to pay for it. He just made sure to come back in to see her first thing in the afternoon, when he had the chance.) If I could recommend any company for their storage needs, in Washington, I would recommend Extra Space, but more specifically, CINDY! She will take care of you!

Michelle and Cyndi made our move as smooth as possible. We were given plenty of options to choose from and everything was explained clearly. The facility is well taken care of & clean. I chose the storage space on the second floor and it turned out perfectly! I could not be anymore happy with choosing this facility. My fiance would definitely recommend this storage space! Check online for great prices/deals. Don't forget to reach out to Cyndi & Michelle for all your needs. You'll definitely be in good hands!

I emptied my unit on Feb 14th. I never got an email confirming I was moved out. The employee told me my lock was still on. It wasn't. She later confirmed that it was a company lock.
So I didn't give them the ten day move out notice.
When I called it was about 21st.
So my autopay had already paid through to March 5th. "Angel" said she could not refund me any money. Even if you add ten days from my move out day, then from February 24 to March 5 is 9 days. At $275/month, that's about $80 I lost because she "can't issue " a refund. Scam.
More like 'Extra Charge Storage'.

We used Extra Space Storage during our last move 4 years ago and had a great experience so are using them again. The online forms and phone conversations made the sign up process very easy. Crystal took the time to explain forms, codes/access, and where the unit was located.

Looking forward to having a new home to move our stuff into, but until then, I highly recommend Extra Space Storage.

The on-site manager is very friendly and helpful. Angel cheerfully showed us a couple of different unit sizes and patiently explained everything we needed to know. The facility is clean and well maintained.

Fantastic! Incredibly helpful, they walked us through the facility, and made sure to put us exactly where we needed to be. When it became clear that an upper level unit wasn't the right fit, we were given some excellent options for spaces on the main floor. Definitely would recommend, and the price is right.
