Wish i could give no stars!
Worst service i have ever had in my life.
My car was here for almost 3 months. And i Had to keep coming back to get it fixed.
& he lies & says it'll be finished the next day.
DO NOT COME HERE.

I have nothing good to say about the place or Harry and how they do business. He is a big fraud and to be stayed away from. Don't fall for his over confidence as his word is nothing like his work.
He claims he knows it all and has done it all, but when it comes to it he doesn't know much about the basics.
After they couldn't figure out an issue I was having with my car, I had to look up a remedy on google and buy the parts myself on ebay and tell them how to do the repair. I caught him driving my car home back and forth several times, seriously? What makes that ok?
They finally got it done after several months and I ended up with a hefty repair bill for something I found the repair solution for. When picking up the car I noticed a very strong petroleum odor near the engine. He said it was normal for the car to smell like that. Really? Normal to smell like gas in the engine compartment? Drove home that day, feeling like an idiot and all I could think about was the fact that my car could catch on fire any minute! Sure enough there was a sever gas leak that had to be taken care of immediately and NO, it was not normal! How do you call yourself a mechanic when you think a gas leak smell is normal near the engine?
If it was not because of his over confidence I would have never given him a chance to touch my car.
The only reason for the 1 star is because he is a good actor and I fell for him.

ISM module went out and as always Harry's there to save the day. First class service at a price that doesn't break the bank. You need a high end mechanic theres none better then Excel thanks again guys for making the wife happy

Needed to get my wheel bearings replaced, and after inspection noticed my axels were also in need of replacement. They took care of it within the same day and a better rate than any other shop quoted me! Also did my oil change and they showed me the parts they replaced. Car runs amazing now thanks to Harry and AR Motor Works!

BY FAR, the best mechanic experience I've EVER had! My vehicle started to malfunction in LA on my way from Vegas. I could've very well been stranded. Which is prime time for a mechanic to take advantage of you. But Harry didn't. I was referred to him by a mechanic of a friend. I got to the shop, and Harry took a short ride with me. He was immediately able to tell what the problem was (I had no idea). We got back to his shop, he ordered the needed part AND fixed the vehicle within a few hours. I was able to get back home safely AND he didn't price gouge me like most mechanics would. Thank you Harry!!!

What can I say, if I could give 6 stars I would. I needed MAJOR engine work done on a new Audi I'd purchased. I was referred to Excel Motoworks by a local car dealer. I show up to a very unassuming shop only to see brand new BMWs, Mercedes, and one Ferrari being worked on. Harry, the owner, took over the complete engine rebuild personally. Within no time I was back on the road for about $2,000 less than any other quote I received. I can not recommend these guys highly enough. Thanks Harry for all that you did. I called Harry and I asked a quote for my Mercedez 2006 S430 for an estimate to replace engine and transmission mount, perform tune up, replace the 16 spark plug, ignition wire. I also ask to replace front and rear brake pads. Harry also replace the left and right lower control bushings. Replace the air filter. Perform rear differential service. The dealer quote me for $4,500 + tax. Harry quoted me $1,500 out the door. Harry was very helpful not only to me but to other customers. I highly recommend Excel Motorworks and ask for Harry.

Thanks Harry and David! I went in to get my engine and transmission mounts replaced today on my '09 C300 Mercedes. The dealership wanted to charge me over a $1000 for this service and Excel Motorworks was able to give it for a little more than half. Very reasonable prices. I don't know nothing about cars, but I sure did appreciate David taking the time show me the mounts and explaining to me what is exactly going in my car. Thanks guys!

I am blessed to have met Harry. What an articulate, experienced and genuinely personable mechanic he is. He was very accommodating to my predicament for being out of town, practically stranded without a car since my quest for a particular automobile was down to one out of two. I was lied to about the first one and needed to get an accurate independent inspection on the second and Harry carried out his assessment on it in a jiffy and within an hour I was flying through the 115 degree heat back home in my perfect pre-owned car. It's always a pleasure to meet good people in general but when generosity meets expertise, it's a blessing of the highest order.

Great Shop. Brought my Benz here because no other dealers could even comprehend what I was talking about. Harry fixed the problem and earned a long time customer.
