Doral Volkswagen use to be Esserman Volkswagen for many years. The dealership sold after Mr. Esserman passed away. I've bought two new cars from them Passat ('12) and ID4 ('22). I wouldn't buy a VW from anyone else. Our salesman is always Feroze Ali. He is a wonderful man and couldn't go out of his way anymore for you. He's a friend for life. The dealership manager is Jay Plant who worked his way up from finance. He goes out of his way to make everybody the best fair deal and stands behind the VW product. Our service manager is Roberto who will always take care of you with a smile and speedy service. Really, I can't say enough about these great gentleman. Everybody on their team is great. You'll be a customer for life too.

Do not buy a car from them or any other Volkswagen dealership. I bought a new Jetta from them last month. Earlier this week the piece of crap broke down. I took it to several dealerships to look at it. Because the first one said I need to pay for it. The second dealership are not sure whether it's under warranty or not. This is a month old car we're talking about. So for a week my month old car is at the dealership. Worst experience I ever had in relation to cars. I have driven, Mazda, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Hyundai. What amazing cars they never gave me trouble. My brand new Jetta broke down and had to be towed away like the piece of crap that it is. No one is helping me not corporate which I contacted, not this dealership where I bought the car and not the dealerships where I sent it to be serviced. Shame shame shame. Never buy a Volkswagen, I hate it biggest mistake I made.

So here I am again with another review on the Doral Volkswagen after you're having the second car I purchased I have not noticed that in my registration they made a mistake. It said my car was black and the two cars that are purchased were white so they say that they changed a ministration when I got there there's new peopleworking there. They said they will have a registration done. I couldn't speak to a manager there's no one available there you're just standing there forever no help whatsoever. it's been two weeks and I'm still waiting for a car for my new registration. Nothing has been done.

Don't buy a Cross Sport! I have a brand new 2023 Atlas Cross Sport. My brakes make noise and the service department says it's completely normal. They claim my brakes are fine because they have no wear and tear and therefore don't need to be changed. Yet the only way to fix the issue is to change the brake pads & rotors.

Dishonesty is the name of the game in this dealership. They rip you off with a smile on their face. For example charging $380 for a $220 battery replacement. Hidden charges and fees. Total lack of transparency.
Stay away and find yourself another VW dealer. They are not to be trusted.

Today I decided to change my review from 5 stars to one star because I called this morning to make an appointment because my engine light turned. I made the appointment and informed them that I needed a car. When I got to service the young man that was there was very help and stated that at this time never was nothing they can do. The advisor never came to speak to me or try to help it was all the young man. He suggested to please come back tomorrow and see if they can help me because there was no loaners and nothing they can do at the moment or to come back next week or any other day this week. I explained to them that I left work early today to deal with this and tomorrow I have a meeting away. The poor kid tried to help but was unable to. What really bothers me that the service manager never came to speak to me or give face and I left everything to young man solve. Now I have to figure out when I can get this resolved and like they said they can reassure me that the engine light on is nothing to worry about. Maybe I should find another dealer.

This place is the worst. I brought my car here last year in 2022. It had many issues and this dealership did $8,500 worth of work on the car. Almost exactly 1 year later the car started acting funny. The check engine light went on so I brought it in. They took a look at the car and told me what needed to be fixed to the tune of $6,000!!!!! What?! After 1 year?? I decided to take the car elsewhere so I had it towed. They told me they were not releasing my car until I paid the diagnostic fee!!! They did not do any work on the car. They wanted $272!
I brought the car to a different shop and was quoted $1,000

Be CAREFUL WITH UPGRADING. We came in for Battery trouble and one tire having trouble by the time we checked out the bill came out to $954.83. I am attaching a picture of the bill. They charged $177.00 for each tire on a 2018 Passat and we definitely needed a wheel alignment because of these two new wheels. You have been warned.

You know that stereotypical "grimy car salesman" type? Yeah that's this dealership. I leased a car off them two years ago. The website to Volkswagen lease said the payout quote was 15k. When I went to the dealership to get the paperwork a sleazy car salesman went to his finance manager for half an hour to come back with ANOTHER quote filled with fake numbers "non tax fees"
"Service fee" "additional fees". For starters the service was included in my lease. At the end of the fake quote it said the payout was almost 20k!!! The sleazy sales man was looking to get his commission of course. If you're not careful there, they are going to trick you and make you pay more than you're supposed to. Go to the Volkswagen dealership in Pembroke Pines. They were much more respectful and honest. Gave me the 15k payout quote that Volkswagen website said I'd get. HORRIBLE, EXPENSIVE AF, and RUDE!!! My mother went in for just an oil change and they charged her $124. For a simple oil change.
I spoke with Andres T (the advisor) and he stated "those were their prices". I asked if they're adding anything else to that or if there was something else he could do to minimize my 66 year old mothers expense. He said that was that. I simply mentioned to him they're duplicating fees / surcharging her for a simple Job.
My mother was taken aback that they didn't even do an inspection on the car or a tire rotation. Something that was standard on her last visit.
He then told my mother that I ACUSED AND CALLED HIM A THIEF !!! Words I never uttered to him on that call. It took me 9 calls to get ahold of him. And when he did pick up the phone, He was very short with me.
And to add insult to injury. He tells my mom that just bc of this. He's gonna give her a discount bc "my mom is the much bigger person here and nothing like me". Still leaving the price at $99. WTF of a discount is this. Of course, now that her 2019 warranty is up on her Jetta, they're gonna spike these prices. Talk about corporate greed here!
