Not sure why it took us this long to find this place, but we did, and FINALLY at that.
Just a cool place to be and spacious. In the morning it's a coffee shop, at night it's a bar for date night.
They have a stamp card and I can't wait to fill it up, not disappointed at all. First time here and we decided to go a little risky, something we haven't tried before - espresso soda.
Not only was it refreshing with it's carbonation, the espresso wasn't too strong at all and made the drink truly shine. We had vanilla syrup added for the sweetness and thankfully the drink overall not that sweet either, but next time the blackberry for sure. We later added to try it as their expresso cream soda. Either way, it's a delicious drink.
We are now anticipating their coffee itself next time as well as their signature ones like Nicco. Also met the owner, she's a wonderful woman doing this for 9 years. You can tell this place was created with happiness, because that's how we felt when being there and trying out their drinks!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 365276Mar 3, 2024
I really loved the interior vibe! This place is definitely decorated in a quaint fashion with some pirate ships and retro items on display. They also support local artists, florists and vintage items which were on sale.
The coffee tasted really good! Also their menu is super simple and has been illustrated in a way to understand the nuances between say a cortado and cappuccino including drink sizes! They also sell fresh baked goods- I noticed they stocked mint chocolate cheesecake and blueberry muffins - as I was ordering and they looked so yum!
The service was also top notch! Very pleasant experience so far.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 15, 20242 check-ins
Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for a little pick me up at 7pm. Didn't realize it turns into a cocktail bar and no takeout drinks were allowed after 2pm. But the seating area was so beautifully decorated with twinkly lights for the holidays, I couldn't resist staying in and sitting down.
I ordered a cappuccino because that was the original goal of my visit. And then the Saturn.
Such a cute spot and the drinks were great. Would definitely visit again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 24391Mar 23, 2024
We came to the evening service for dessert and a cocktail. It was very dim inside, to the point that we weren't actually sure if it was open until we walked in. The espresso martini was outstanding, it had a really unique flavor profile that I enjoyed. The carrot cake was good but not anything special. The cake was more expensive than I would expect for that size slice.

Rosetta Roasting (otherwise known as Espresso Rosetta) is my current favorite coffee shop in Livermore. The staff is very friendly and quick and makes it a very warm place to spend a morning.
The venue has cute decor and many booths and chairs providing some of the best seating I've seen in a coffee shop. It almost has a full "restaurant" layout which is a breath of fresh air compared to other cramped coffee locations.
One of the reasons that this location is my favorite is the unique drinks. Very few places offer cortados and Rosetta roasting offers 4 of these house specials: the Nicco (orange and vanilla), Meesha (black berry, lavender, white mocha), Mercy (raspberry, white mocha), Juliet (rose and dark mocha).
These are all super high quality. After tip the drink comes out to around $6 which is my only downside. Higher tip for a higher quality drink so it is fair enough, I only wish it was lower so that I could justify coming back more frequently.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 57588413985Feb 20, 2024
LOVE this place! Super quaint and cozy place in downtown Livermore. The staff was friendly. I got the Meesha, which had espresso, blackberry, lavender, and a white mocha sauce. Definitely did not disappoint. Floral and fragrant and not too sweet. 10/10 would get again and would try their other house specialties.

Our go to place for cozy drinks and delicious desserts. Nightcaps is the place to go on a weekend evening. The people are always friendly and welcoming. My partner and I come here weekly if we can for a date night.

There nighttime speakeasy is also a bit hit too. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner is an amazing person to talk with as well.

Really smooth cappuccino!! The blueberry muffin was nice addition. They open at 7am which worked for my 8am meeting. Fast service and good vibes all around.

I came here to catch up with a friend whom I haven't seen in years. This coffee shop was a perfect catch up spot as it had a lot of seating - indoors and outdoors. I was very surprised to see more seating as I walked towards the back and right of the shop. I like the decor with all the mirrors. The ambiance was quaint, vintage-y vibes, and cozy.
I love the drawings of the different coffee types on the wall to the right of the shop after you walk in. Super helpful for people to visualize what's the difference between a macchiato and a latte, etc. I usually order a latte but after looking over the house specialties/cortado truffles, I opted for the Meesha. The blackberry, lavender, and white mocha sauce sold me. Lavender petals were sprinkled on top. Although very cute and picturesque, I did not quite enjoy eating the actual petals. I guess eating flowers is just not for me. The sauce itself was very subtle. I'm not sure if I quite tasted it. Nonetheless, the drink was creamy, warm, and enjoyable.
All in all, I would come back here!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 2044811752Sep 23, 2023
After enjoying our dinner in downtown on a Saturday night, my family and I wanted to go somewhere else for dessert and I remember hearing that Rosetta turned into a speakeasy in the evenings. You can't go wrong with dessert & drinks! Their nightcap is Thurs-Sat, 6pm-11pm.
We were seated right away and the lights at the table gave it a vibe. So cute! The menu was online and we ordered through the phone. I like that it had pictures for all of the items.
My husband and I shared the ricotta and pistachio cake. SO good!! My mom and sister got the Berry cream cake with mixed berries on top. They also enjoyed their cake. For cocktails, everyone got a cocktail but me and everyone enjoyed them. My mom even got a 2nd cocktail!
We noticed the cakes weren't overly sweet which we liked!!
We had a lovely conversation w/the owner. We found out she imports the ricotta & pistachio cake from Italy. The berry cake is imported from France. Immediately we told her how we were just mentioning that the cakes aren't overly sweet like traditional American cakes.
The restroom decor was true vintage. The soap dispenser reminded me of the ones from elementary school where you had to push up the metal thingy to release the powder soap. The paper towel dispenser had a crank. I hadn't seen one of these in many years so it brought back nostalgia.
If you're in search of a dessert and cocktail spot, this is your place! I would return here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
