let me start by saying that the reservation experience was wonderful. I switched my usual location of Kingston pikes to summer place downtown. only because it is closer to where I currently live. Drew was AMAZING! Treated me wonderfully and was so nice and professional,but still caring! amazin service. they are my new go to location!

We are spontaneous travel junkies, and we always rent a car. We live
downtown and this is the location we always go to. The staff is always super friendly (never have I had a bad experience) and sometimes when
the husband goes on his lunch break to rent a car and they need to make
a copy of my driver license they will allow me to come in later that day to

Repeatedly, I have had nothing but positive experiences renting from the downtown Enterprise. First before we even get to the cars, let's talk about the staff. They are friendly and efficient. They are quick to get me in and out the door, but not because they are trying to shoo me out the door. They understand that my time is valuable and respect that. I appreciate the level of professionalism that I've repeatedly experienced here.
Prices are competitive with other rental agencies in town and if you do a little online research, you can usually find pretty decent deals. The cars are well maintained and always clean. Even their economy cars have amenities that are a step of above average.
One of my favorite things about Enterprise is pick-up/drop-off service. They don't even blink an eye. It's so nice to not have to worry about having someone pick me up when I am dropping off a car. Convenience in the name of their game.

I had the worst experience with them and will never use again. They basically gave me a car that drove horribly. Tried to take it back and change it out for a car that drove properly, but the manager insisted he couldn't exchange a car that smelled like smoke. However, it reeked of cigarettes when I picked it up. I didn't complain like I should have. The manager, "Danny" drove the rental literally in a circle, and said there was nothing wrong with it. Then they added a damage waiver without my consent and expected me to pay for it. After the way I was treatment by the manager "Danny" I will never be back. I'll almost bet he was racist as I saw him brushing off several other black customers off onto other employees.

Leah was rad, really good energy. She was efficient and super helpful it was in and out! Will definitely rent from here again - HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Had a great experience renting a car with them!! All the staff were really nice and very easy to do business with them! Had the car for 2 weeks for a great price also! Highly recommend!

Jody Crisp waited on me and he was totally awesome. I cannot express how wonderful his service is. The whole staff was excellent. The vehicle, a Subaru Outback, was outstanding. It was very clean when I received it and it ran amazingly well. This has been one of the most wonderful business experiences I have had. I would highly recommend Enterprise Rent A Car and especially the one located at 530 Summer Place Knoxville Tennessee 37902.

I rent from this location (used to be on the corner in the Old City) frequently for work. The sales people always make me feel appreciated. The new location is much better and still convenient. I've never had a problem with this location (although I've heard of problems with the location on Clinton Highway).

I rent here more than you do, I promise. Be nice to the counter people and they will be nice back to you. Sign up for the rewards program, it's good.
Have you ever rented a car and know the hoops you have to jump through to do it? No?
So quick customer education: it's really best to have a major credit card for rentals. Even then, they put a temp hold of $150 plus whatever amount you're renting on the card, then when you return it, the full charge is just your rental cost plus gas or insurance if you got that (the $150 was just there as their collateral and assurance you're not a deadbeat, that amount isn't permanent).
If you don't have a credit card but do have a check card, you have to show them a recent (like no more than 3 months old) KUB bill that doesn't have a big past-due stamp on it to rent. They have to do this so bad people don't steal their cars y'all, they're not out to get you, but boy have I seen some people get upset about these facts and mistreat the poor employees. So get your facts straight *before* you to try to show up with your "ATM card" or a whole wad of cash you're "just sure they'll bend the rules for, ya dig?" They don't dig. They don't have the authority to give you a car for cash. Would you do that for your own car for someone just off the street? Heck no you wouldn't, so stop wasting everyone's time asking and pretending you're a special snowflake and deserve it!
If you think your job is hard, just go stand in this Enterprise for 5 minutes on a Monday morning and I bet you'll have a newfound appreciation for your own job and for the people that work here. There's a fair amount of employee turnover just because this job has both long hours and difficult customer service situations, and they get shuffled to other locations, so you may get to know one agent then come back a month or two later and they won't be there, but right now they have a solid team that's going to do the best they can for you.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
