We decided to get bikes and wanted to buy them from a bike shop. We yelped bike shops in Castro Valley and ended up visiting this bike shop. Perfect choice. THESE GUYS KNOW BIKES! We spent at least an hour or more talking, test riding, and discussing with the owners the perfect fit. Ordered them last week and they came as promised! We rode the bikes home from Castro Valley to San Leandro!! Amazing ride! Thanks for all your help Endless Bikes owners! We couldn't be happier!!.

I brought in my road bike and mentioned that I was afraid of riding it because I felt like I was going to die each time I tried to get off. They suggested that I add in some brakes to the front of the bike so that I would be more comfortable stopping and getting off. GENIUS. I now use my road bike all the time and am no longer that I am going to eat pavement like I used to fear. Before they had suggested this I was considering getting a hybrid bike which would have been such a waste of money considering my road bike was expensive and still in great condition!

My husband also bought a hybrid bike from them and he is very happy with his purchase. They did not push products on us and let us take our time.

This is the only bike shop that we will be using from now on.

added brakes on the top of the handle bars so that I don't need to be all the way down to use the regular ones

Endless cycles quickly and correctly diagnosed a disc brake problem for me, saving me time and money from having another shop take the job. The other shop had quoted me a much larger price, and for a technique that apparently wasn't required, as Endless Cycles' mechanic proceeded to troubleshoot and repair the brake as I waited.
I'm always heartened to witness honesty in a transaction like that, and with this positive feedback (and a commitment to take any future business to them) I hope to thank them for their integrity.

My Brother, Alexander P insisted I go here for my next bike purchase.

Needless to say, this place is awesome! Great customer service. Reasonable prices. I just had my bike tuned up and the handle bars changed out. The total cost was way less than they had quoted me. I heart Endless Cycles!

What up, Jeff!! Thanks for custom fitting my Trek 29er with some sweet training wheels! =D

It was about time there was another bike shop with a large selection of bikes, merchandise and repair in Castro Valley, and this one is excellent in every way. I came in for their grand opening and took a look around. I bought a bicycle rack for my car, and Jeff, one of the owners, helped me install it despite that it was a big day for the owners and people were in the store. I was so impressed with the service and friendliness that I brought in a "vintage" touring bike that I bought on CL for a safety check. Scott, the other owner, knew the year model of my bike, having been a Schwinn salesman back in the 80s. Long story short, both Jeff and Scott treated me and my bike as if I had bought the bike from them. In addition, I've noticed that their prices for accessories were less than their competitors in Castro Valley. These guys are friendly and all around nice.

They have free weekly spinning classes on Thursday, which they invited me to, and it was a great class. There is also a group of night time mountain bikers who meet there on Thursday nights.

      I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by this bike shop to have my front derailer adjusted and pickup the recall part for my bike. The guy was cool. It looked like they were gearing up for a ride outside. Thanks again for taking care of me during my bike by.

Love bikes! Thanks for adjusting me guys!

As a castro valley native, I was pretty stoked when I saw that a new bike store had occupied a spot in this little shopping area that has seen so many different types of businesses open and close.

I'm in the market for a new FS MTB soon so I thought I'd stop in and see what this place had to offer. The two owners (I'm assuming) were helping a couple other customers when I came in but acknowledged me, directed me to the bikes I was interested in and told me they would be with me in a couple minutes. After a little bit, Jeff came over to help me out. Now, i'm almost 8 months pregnant and obviously in no condition to ride at the moment, however Jeff didn't treat me any differently and didn't make me feel weird about looking and asking questions about the bikes. I told him my budget and what I was looking for and he gladly answered all of my questions. He didn't try to push anything on me or tell me that i NEEDED to look at a higher model of bike but told me his honest opinion of the bikes and componentry I was looking at.

I didn't end up buying anything today of course but will definitely be back in a couple months when I am able to test ride some bikes. Another thing I like is that they offer free lifetime "preventative maintenance" if you purchase your bike from them. any minor tweaks that need to be made, you can just bring your bike in and they'll fix/tune it for you! awesome!

definitely checkout endless cycles. if things work out, i'll have an update in a couple months after i purchase my new bike.

Wow, what a fabulous place! My hub and I got turned on to Endless Cycles by a friend who rides with Tri Valley Velo, a team they sponsor. From the minute we walked through the door, the owners (Jeff and Scott) took wonderful care of us! (And we needed TLC, having just had our beloved road bikes stolen!). They set us up for test rides, and were so accommodating about switching out equipment to meet our needs. Scott also built us beautiful wheelsets, and recommended some changes to our bike configurations that improved the operation of the bike tremendously.

On top of that, a bike purchase comes with a custom-fit by Karen, who is superb. She spent such a long time with me, perfecting every part of the bike. I had been suffering with neck and shoulder tension for a year on my old bike, which I now realize was a function of a less than ideal fit for me given some underlying health issues (too aggressive a posture). What a difference! I had a totally pain-free ride today, and could not be happier!

We are so jazzed to be connected with this shop, and recommend them without reservation. You will be well taken care of, and feel you made friends to boot!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice selection of bikes, gear and clothes and a really great shop!

I've been riding for a few years now but never took the time to get my bike fitted to me. My legs, hips and lower back would get sore after an hour of riding, and it felt like I could never get comfortable. So I booked an appointment with Karen, Endless Cycle's fitting specialists, and had a great afternoon tuning my bike to fit me!

Karen did a great job figuring out what kind of cyclist I am, checked my physique to see where possible problem areas are (just found out one leg's longer than the other), and checked my flexibility to see what position I would be most comfortable in. She uses a host of tools like lasers, and adjustable stem, more lasers and her experience eye then recommends adjustments and new parts if necessary. Karen didn't rush me at all and really took the time to make little adjustments (a mm here, a mm there) just to make sure everything was fitted perfectly!

All in all I'm a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend Endless Cycles to anyone!

Support your LBS and ride safe!

Excellent experience. Jeff produced a one day turn around time for my special order Bianchi. It was ordered, delivered, and assembled in less than 24 hours. He even offered to deliver it to my house!

Jeff was thorough and clearly vested in providing a premium customer experience.
I appreciate that the shop offers a lifetime discount on accessories when you purchase a bike and free tune-ups (also with the purchase of a bike).

      I wholeheartedly recommend Endless Cycles.
