Stella Harper S.AL, AL153Jul 5, 2023This place is great! The food is yummy! The queso rules and the nachos are very yummy! But WHY DID I EAT SO MANY CHIPS?! That's how yummy they were! We got very good service! Our server was very nice and the food came out very quickly. The restaurant looked kinda run-down but that wasn't bad. The seats were kinda uncomfortable but we survived. The bathrooms were VERY humid. The lighting was beautiful and perfect! All and all, this was a great restaurant!

We stopped in on a whim because I was craving some tacos- and I was pleasantly surprised! The tacos and tortilla soup were delicious! Fortunately we got there just before the crowd arrived so we had great service. It got packed. I would have given this place 5 stars but the restaurant could use upgrading.... But the food was on point.

Absolutely the best Mexican food since we moved here from California. Not the prettiest restaurant but the food & staff are great. Will go out of our way to eat here again.

I hate to write the whole review on the cheese sauce but the cheese sauce was very flavorful and the Choriqueso
Was not greasy at all.

Itz K.AL, AL04Aug 22, 2021I absolutely LOVE el rodeo their food is amazing! I personally always get the polo loco and it is always hot and delicious! The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because one day my mother found a burnt dead fly in her food. I personally have never had an issue though.

Ashley H.Southaven, MS19826874657May 18, 2015Finally! We finally found great Mexican food around here. Actually, a waiter from another Mexican restaurant recommended this place to us.
We went with one thing in mind: mole. They do have mole poblano, and it's actually some of the best mole I've ever had. I've ventured out a couple of times and had the chicken enchiladas with verde and a shrimp taco salad. Those were both fantastic, and they use fresh local seafood, but it's so hard to not order the mole.
The service is always great and the prices are very reasonable. If you're tired of all of the mediocre Mexican food in Mobile and on the Eastern Shore, it's worth the drive to Robertsdale.
