El Mariachi San Lucas

The ambiance is very sweet and colorful. The food is so good. Always delicious.
Their chips and variety of salsas are always the best way to start off the meal! Then have the guacamole and move to the crab and guacamole app it's so yummy! My mouth is already watering thinking about it!
Aaahh then the tacos! Every one of them are superb! Al pastor is our favorite however had the fish taco and it was delish!
PLUS it's BYOB! Can't beat it!!

Food was good, but it was somewhat bland.
If you are on a low sodium diet this is for you.

Service was horrible. We made reservations and got seated 35 mins later. Then our waitress didn't come to our table for another 10 mins and waited another 10 minutes for water. The table that got seated after us even got attended before us. Food was okay 3/10. Definitely do not recommend this establishment. So sad because I really wanted to like this place.



There is a weird entrance that the employees ignore people waiting for their table.

Ordered heart taco tray for take out. Good varieties of meat. Some of the meat are a bit greasy and soaked through the tortilla. The tortilla became soggy and ripped as one picking up the taco. Would get it again though!

Saturday afternoon and we had a sudden craving for Mexican food, specifically nachos. I suggested Mariachi San Lucas because I recall their nachos (and their food in general) being superb and the drive being on the shorter end. It's been a couple of years since my mom and I have been and it was my girlfriend's first time. We arrived around 3:45 and had were the only guests in the restaurant. It is BYOB so we brought a bottle of wine and they supplied the wine glasses.

Our server was really nice and more than accommodating. We had a few questions and a couple requests and everything we asked was of no issue at all. The restaurant also seemed like it was decorated for Spring. Both my mom and girlfriend said it was cute inside.

They started us off with homemade chips and some delicious salsas. Soon after we placed our order more guests started arriving. I guess we ended up going at a weird time right between lunch and dinner but by the time we were finished eating the place was full.

We decided to split chicken nachos between the 3 of us and to each get our own entree. My girlfriend ordered a chicken burrito enchilada style in green sauce. My mom had chicken enchiladas in green sauce. I finally broke after years of wanting to try a molcajete bowl and loved it. I chose red guajillo sauce which is the least spicy of their two options. It came with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and avocado and was bubbling and steaming long after it was placed in front of me. The sauce had great flavor and the meat was tender. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because the portion size was so large. My mom and girlfriend had leftovers as well. Everyone enjoyed their food to say the least.

I can't believe it's been so long between visits for me especially with how short of a drive I have. The food was great and so was the service. I will be back again soon. The quality is just how I remember it a few years back.

Food is always delicious! Prices are fair! Service is always great as well. Margarita mix made in house and it's byob! Delicious.

Fish tacos were very fishy as was the tilapia dish ordered. All fish was tilapia and not good. The cheese in the chili releno was solid and made the pepper inedible. The Margaitas Mix and glasses - mix was way too sweet and glasses served without salt- 16.00 - not worth it. Server left all dinner dishes on the table. My birthday - not a decent experience.

Stopped here for lunch since I had a strong Mexican food craving. Service took way too long, was one table of three at the time and it still took over 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our table. Food is subpar at best. Absolutely no flavor in any of the dishes, chicken and rice were both way overcooked, and everything was generally just overpriced for poor quality. I will say atmosphere is authentic, relaxing, and clean!

Fantastic experience. It was the only place in the general area that would take a reservation for 32 people on a Saturday night. The food and service were outstanding. They gave us their banquet menu and even modified it for us because of dietary restrictions. Everyone in our party left very happy.
