The food was wonderful and the service very good. They even have a Vegan/Vegetarian section on the menu and we tried 3 things off of it and loved them.
The ambiance was fine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cassidy D.Williamsburg, KY1082123Jan 20, 2024Updated review
El Dorado's has the best salsa of any Mexican restaurant--hands down. My husband and I frequent this restaurant almost weekly, and I never have a bad meal here. The service is great and friendly, and I love running into people I know here.

All the dishes are great, but the salsa. The SALSA. It's to-die-for. None of that cheap salsa all the other restaurants serve. It's so fresh and has tons of cilantro. It's so good, I daydream about it. Just eat here. You won't regret it.

Love the food every time. The lady at the register is awesome so friendly, but the wait staff are horrible! They are so unfriendly and and inconsistent! They should put a drink station out so you can get your own refills. I literally hate to order there because I feel like they are bothered by having to wait on me.

Arrived and took a bit to get seated although many workers there isn't really a host(ess). Our both was still wet from being wiped off. A little less water leftover next time would be good.
We were promptly met by our server. After debate, we ordered margaritas. Original. A little watered down, unsure if there was alcohol in it.
Menu warning!**** if you mix meats (one chicken, one beef, etc) it's $2 extra.
I had the deluxe burritos. Chicken was preferred for sure.
She ordered the taquitos. Nice and crispy and both meats were good.
Chips were not thick and not thin. Salsa was good. A bit different and we liked it.
Typical Mexican restaurant. We went once traveling. Wouldn't stop again though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - B.L B.Ball Ground, GA092Nov 15, 2023
Service was courteous and quick. He loved the fresh fried jalapeños and had his favorite egg dish.

Probably the most Authentic Mexican restaurant in Kentucky. I've been to other Latin American countries as well as areas of Houston where there densely populated amounts of restaurants like El Dorados but they take the cake. Best Mexican Food I've ever had.

Small local place. Food was Awesome! Loved the taco salad, and my husband had Fiesta shrimp salad. We were pleasantly surprised after driving 9 hours. Specialty margaritas were great. And prices very fair $10 to $15 and they were huge.

We shared the carnitas plate. The pork had good flavor and easy to shred. The rice and beans were yummy. The salad with guacamole came on a separate plate and was plenty for two.
We were surprised to find a jalapeño dorado included and were pleased.
The waiter was great attentive to our needs and asked if our tortillas were flour or corn. Of course it was corn.
It's a nice casual restaurant with textured paintings on the wall.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
