I come here every year and always have a great time. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the grove is beautiful. Parking is ample and free.

The apples are always delicious. And you definitely can't leave without having some apple cider donuts and cider (hot or cold). Early in the season, the local church also comes by and sells baked potatoes with toppings of your choice, and each year they are the first place I go to after picking apples.

The market is fantastic as well. They sell so many cute items and some tasty pantry staples. I usually buy some bacon jam every year, the strawberry poppyseed dressing is my go to dressing. I usually get two bottles to last me until my next trip. Can't wait for next year.

This place made me feel like I was back home! The cider room reminded me of a winery in St Helena, Paso Robles, Lodi, or Napa. The petting zoo area reminded me of NorCal. The apples reminded me of my time in Puyallup, Washington. (Ya know, the state known for 69% of all apples in the US.)

I FREAKING LOVED THIS PLACE. By far, my favorite place in Illinois to date. I wish they had something akin to Angry Orchard though. (But my guess is, they aren't interested in the alcohol game and I'm not sure I can blame them.)

I do wish there was coin exchange machine. I only had $0.50 by luck. **BRING QUARTERS.** I do love some goats. They are such... characters.

What else is there to say? Well, the Smoked Jalapeño Mustard is TO DIE FOR. The Peanut Butter Chocolate fudge is phenomenal. The pulled pork sammich was tasty. The apple cider donuts remind me of the churros at Disneyland, except soft. (They should make churros and add their caramel dipping sauce as an add on, just saying.)

Stuff is a bit pricey, compared to big box. BUT, for the quality you're getting, I'd say the price point is en pointe. All in all, spent $75 on:

2 pecks of honey crisp ($15.99/ea)
      1 Smoked Jalapeño Mustard
      1 Regular Apple Butter
1 Sm Bx of PBC fudge
      1 doz donuts
      1/2 doz donuts

Parking is easy. If you're able to go midweek early morning, that's what I'd recommend. Quiet crowd, calm, good way to start the day.

Drove up from Chicago to visit Edwards. Very easy to get too, short drive north off of I-90 going towards Rockford. They had a good variety of apples as expected from an orchard, but it was a nice touch having descriptions for each apple. They also had samples going out too. I was a big fan of the rosalee Apples and picked up a couple of pecks. The winner here is definitely the fresh Apple cider donuts. Easily the best orchard apple cider donuts I ever had. Had them super hot and fresh. They were Soo soft and just right amount of sugar on them. The donuts themselves is worth the drive. The apple cider was very good too. Everyone here was friendly and attentive on our questions. Very good workers here. This is a great place for families with different activities for kids and families. Would definitely come back here next year for the donuts and try new apples.

What a wonderful day to enjoy with the family. Shopping was first on our list to get all the jams, dips, and many items. You have to get the fresh, warm doughnuts - the best. My son bought 4 dozen to take back to friends in Tennessee. You can have a meal or maybe just a piece of warm apple pie with ice cream or carmel apple. Big decisions with all these choices. The waiting time seems long, but the lines move fast. If you have children, there is a play area with lots for them to do. A barn with animals to feed, too. There is a field to park in. I also notice there is a schedule of what you can pick in the orchards or fields. This is the place to go if you like making charcuterie boards to get great jams and jellies. I hope you find time to visit Edwards Orchard in Poplar Grove. My favorite place for a fall day.

We've been going to Edwards Apple Orchard for the last 10 years. We love everything about it! There's a bunch of stuff for the kids to do. Apple picking is great, and so is the food! Everything is delicious, especially the apple cider donuts and the baked potato bar! The gift shop is huge and has so many awesome things. It's one of our favorite family traditions!

Every year, we make it a fall tradition to go to our favorite Edwards Orchard for apple-picking.

Even though it's an hour away, the quality of their apples and their products are so worth it! It's huge too with lots of fun activities for all ages.

There's the main barn where you can buy all their goodies and some apples or fresh produce. We always get their salsas, dip mix, breakfast sausage, apple smoked bacon, ameretto fudge, their cider donuts, apple cider donuts, and so many other goodies. We go all out. You have to get their caramel dip! It pairs perfectly with the apples. There is another barn with all their baked goods you can eat right then. They have goodies like apple pie and cider donuts. And then another barn with more food options available. We always get their nachos and pulled pork. Their cider donuts are unmatched and we have gone to so many orchards. Even their apple pie is unmatched. Their apple cider is the best too. When I tell you this place has quality products, I mean it. I have gone to so many orchards and we still keep coming back.

It is so much fun to go apple picking too! It is $45 per basket with a $3 deposit on the basket. You can fill it to the brim. They have plenty of apples with all different stops you can get off if you prefer a specific type. I'm usually a honeycrisp or ambrosia kind of gal. The basket is huge and you can most definitely share with another family.

The employees are incredible and you can tell that this work means a lot to them. I believe it is family owned and it explains a lot! You can tell in the way they organize things that they want each family to feel like part of their own. For years to come, I will always come back to Edwards Orchard!

We went back to the orchard on Center today. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We are a sucker for the bacon jam, donuts and apple pie. You can shop
up top and go down below the barn for food service. They have a nice outdoor play area for the kids. The apple pie this time was better than the last time we were their. It was more crispy, almost seemed fresher. You can buy a dozen donuts already prepared to go in the freezer. We enjoy these on Christmas or new years morning.

Love this orchard... it is so nice; the store smells nice. The donuts are readily available to buy by the dozen or 1/2 order.

"My wife and I had an opportunity to visit Edward Apple Orchard. What an amazing time we had! A member of the staff gave us an apple tasting. It was like going to a wine tasting. We sampled several varieties of apples and eventually settled on the crisp, sweet taste of the Pixie. We eventually brought some home to our granddaughter. I want to thank Edward's for having such knowledgeable staff and great service."
