Normally when I am in a new city, when it is time to get a haircut I talk to the first guy I see with a haircut I like to find the cool barbershop. Edge is the first barbershop I actually ran into and came out with a good look.
Like most black barbershops, expect to spend a couple hours there. Good places typically have a long wait time, and good barbers take their time.
Rather than go with my usual (cut it all off, I hate my unruly graying hairs!), after watching the two barbers work I went with a bald fade. The barber I had did a fantastic job, using a razor to create the effect rather than the clippers. It looks neat, natural, and awesome. Plus there is a student discount! (50NOK off the 200NOK price)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Loc C.San Diego, CA1044Feb 7, 2016
First of, I hate getting haircuts overseas because it always turned out to be the opposite of what I wanted. I lived in Helsinki and Beijing before coming to Oslo, and for some reason I can't find a place that gives a good fade. I went here last week before the "rush hour", it gets really busy here. So come early and be prepare to get the best haircut in Oslo. The price was really reasonable, 250 KR for a haircut. If you're into fades, this is the place. I was really happy with my haircut. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my haircuts while I stay Oslo.
