Edeka Budie

I still can't figure out if Edeka is more or less expensive than regular grocery stores. There seems to be some kind of discrepency, in that some things are more than I would have thought while others are cheaper than the local Kaiser's or Rewe.

This particular Edeka is kind of gross, largely in part to the foot traffic from tourists galore... or at least, that's what I assume. It's a block away from Hackescher Markt which means most of the people who come in here are likely not residents. As a result, it's super warm, it's dirty, it's busy, and the selection is eh.

Come here if you're in the area and need something quick, but if you can avoid it, do your shopping elsewhere.
