An okay place to stay. The beds are good. But the hotel could hire a maintenance crew to fix most everything. It's all cosmetic but a real eyesore. Stained carpets and chairs, peeling paint, moldy ACs, cracked ceilings.
But the staff was friendly.
Just a basic continental breakfast.
I really expected more from a Choice Hotel.
But it was cheap.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William C.McKinney, TX21653Aug 28, 2018
I'm giving this place a negative star.
1. The staff broke my toilet while they were cleaning the place. When I arrived back that evening after work, I immediately noticed it and informed the front desk that it was broken. They said they would report it and have it fixed. I had plans that evening and when I returned, the toilet was still broken. I inquired at the front desk and they said that I wasn't in, so the maintenance guy left.... really?!! They come in everyday and clean without me being there but they don't come in and fix the toilet??!!!
I've asked to talk to the general manager for three weeks, not one phone call has been returned...
So because I was already booked again this week, I've asked for an update on the issue. The guy at the front desk tells me that the manager was going to give me a 10% discount and then said I had got such a great rate for booking online that particular week, that he was not going to do anything.
1st I didn't book online that week. I booked the room when i arrived at the front desk.
2nd I was reasonable in my expectations that my toilet would be repaired and it was not..., I had to put my hand into the tank every time I flushed. (It was a matter of replacing the flapper and flapper chain... a very simple repair)
I communicated professionally and in a friendly kind manner in my attempts to reach out to the manager over the last 3 weeks and never received any response.... only to be ignored and then told I booked it online and got a great discount??? When I booked on arrival and paid the listed price at the desk...
Now on top of all of this... my current room which was booked almost 4 weeks ago... has exposed carpet tacks in the bathroom threshold... that I've already stepped on three times...
Cheap rooms , mildewed carpets, bathrooms smell like piss... this place is a health risk! And Ajay Patel the general manager doesn't give a shit about customer care or safety or Choice Hotels reputation as a brand. You'll be much better served by using Airbnb.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stephan K.West Chester, PA4332Oct 6, 2016
Pillow was moldy, top cover was disgusting, living bed bugs slowly creeping around. I drove 9 hours from Savannah to get away from hurricane Matthew, but I'm going to keep driving to the next rest stop and sleep in my car.
Disgusting. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Robin R.Marietta, GA4341Feb 26, 2018
Disgusting, stay somewhere else. If I hadn't been exhausted from a long drive & prepaid, I would've left in a hurry. Seems they count on tired travelers in order to have anyone stay here.
Everything in room needs overhaul. Ac sounded like a lawnmower, a straw bed would've been more comfortable (used my own sheets & pillow), everything was filthy, (even walls) rundown or broken. Breakfast was burnt coffee, powdered cream, stale breads, old apples, you get the picture.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ron H.Milton, FL415Jun 27, 2017
My wife and I stayed here for 3 days while house hunting, rooms are small but the service was great!

I didn't stay here. The lobby was shabby. The room was better than the Woodspring Suites. I just drove down to get some lottery tickets from Mississippi and didn't want to drive back. The room was ran down so I asked for a refund . The lady in the lobby was very nice and hospitable

eeew. this place is disgusting. first my room looks like this is a place where people come to cook and shoot up heroin. everything is rusted and broken. the bathroom base board I think might have dry blood or something. I posted pictures you can see how shitty this room is. my step dad just informed me they are charging is $75 for the night. um yeah right I don't think so. I'll be making a huge complain tomorrow. they are lucky I've been driving for 8 hours on 12 hours of sleep in 3 days. I'll be contacting the owners of this econo lodge.

Great location, out dated and tiny room. Front desk service was great and comfortable beds. It's ok for one night stay while passing through.

Can't say enough good things about this place.
We showed up at midnight needing a place to sleep. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on a place to take a nap.. definitely the best bang for your buck!
It was CLEAN! The bed was super comfy. Right off the interstate. Great location. Friendly staff.
Totally recommend this place!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melody B.Brandon, MS02Jul 26, 2016
Our stay was okay until we went to check out. The Patel lady was very unfriendly and was trying to double charge our stay. I called and verified with my bank they did charge my room, but she still wanted to charge me again. Held us up for 30 minutes proving to her that we paid for the room. Hold on to your receipt if you stay here.
Room was ok for the money. No coffee ready in the mornings. Better hotels across the street with friendly people. Will not stay at this hotel again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
