Very rude!!! and rushed me out the store terrible customer service!! Mother and daughter was so rude they didn't even help and told me they can't help bc they was closing soon ..and mom said she doesn't care it's not her money
Told me hurry up and then didn't even raise the gate when I was leaving..never ever again getting my money

Terrible customer service. Their good prices aren't worth it to be accused for something you didn't do.

Horrible customer service, I have been going here for years and I recently had a brief encounter with the "manager" and she was very rude. Don't waste your coins on a shop that does not value their customers!!

This establishment was the closest beauty supply to my job, but it served its purpose! I needed to buy braiding hair, but only had time during the work day (my hair appointment was the next morning). So I searched Yelp, found that this was the ONLY one near me & took an Uber there.

I'm from Chicago & suburbs, so I usually buy Xpressions 85" hair for my box braid needs. But lately, the price has risen to $8-9 a pack, so to find something similar at $2.99 a pack was very surprising!

If I'm ever in another situation like this, I would definitely return, but I strongly recommend visiting if this is your nearest BSS!

Amazing hair store! Cheap, great for students, families on a budget. They have exactly what is in trend and with great quality. Love this place. I legit travel 60mins just to go here.

This place is so sorry. They treat black people like dogs and they don't know anything about the product they are selling. Thank God for smartphones and Google. The Asian woman got upset when I asked her if they had shear scissors and she threw a regular scissors on the counter and I corrected her. She also got upset when the 30% discount was not taken out of my purchase and I made her redo do the calculations.

This beauty supply store has pretty much everything I need and more. As someone who enjoys experimenting with different styles, I really appreciate the assortment of hair I can find here. It reminds me of the store I go to back home.

If you live in Cambridge, you might be tempted to go to Venus Cosmetics in Central. Don't waste your time there. Hope on the 1 bus and go to this place instead.

I went to their website to checkout what kind of human hair lace wigs they had. Website has nothing on it except a 10% coupon on it. I took the coupon to one of many locations this one is 1783 Washington Street The Wig Shop all the wigs are over $100, that was suppose to be my limit on a wig I am only going to wear for two days here and there. I had to go through 15 minutes of them calling the manager to examining their own website, regarding 10%. I finally said, forget it. This is way too much work. Mind you I was buying a $170 wig.. never again, I will go online to purchase any future wigs I am interested in. Unbelievable!!

I went in to buy full head clip-in extensions. I've never bought extensions before so I told them what my stylist told me to ask for. Turn out they sold me the wrong type of extensions. My stylist called them, she spoke with the manager, and the manager told us to bring in the UNUSED package of extensions for exchange. When I got there (per the managers instructions) the "sales associates" then told me that there was a hard no exchange policy. I asked for the manager and then they all--manager included-- began to pretend that they couldn't speak English (they are Asian). So rude. I called my bank and ICE on them (since they want to pretend to be foreign). Got my money back via my bank and hit them with a fraud claim.

Later I went down the street to Hair Stop Roxbury, a *black owned* beauty supply shop. They were so sweet and they sold me the right hair. They said they were proud to not be affiliated with this scummy place.

I'd really, really rather go someplace else, but I've been coming here for years for lack of a better place. The selection is decent, but the salespeople are meh and I'm really not a huge fan of the floor-to-ceiling shelves full of skin lightening products directly to your right as you wait in line at the front register. Why are we still selling that crap in 2018? And WHY are we placing it at the front of the business - in a position of prominence? What kind of message are we sending to the young girls who shop here? I try to order hair online instead, but that takes planning and I'm usually a last-minute kind of girl. I get what I need from this place, but I don't feel that great about it.
