My doctor recommended I visit East End Foot & Ankle after I became concerned about issues with my feet. While nothing serious, the doctor wasn't 100% certain and thought I'd get quick, accurate answers because this practice handles foot issues all day, every day.

My doctor handled my appointment and because I was experiencing pain, they asked to get me in quickly. It was Thanksgiving weekend but I was able to get an appointment the following Tuesday. I visited the website on my own and downloaded new patient paperwork.

Prior to my visit I came home to a message from East End Foot & Ankle asking to confirm my appointment. They had dialed my home number and since I work I didn't get it until after hours. The following day I received a call on my cell phone. The associate stated they had called and I hadn't confirmed, to which I responded that the office left the message only at my home number. The lady also mentioned new patient paperwork on their site. (Done!)

I arrived a few minutes early. Their lobby provided plenty of chairs for visitors and felt tidy. I signed in at the front desk and turned in my paperwork, and one asked for my insurance card to scan. She was assisting the front desk and asking for steps on what to scan - all good, but it led to the front desk associate sharing a story about a patient that didn't understand her co-pay amount. She was poking fun at the patient for being confused about something that should've seemed obvious. I get it - work talk - but the front desk should be more mindful of how it sounds to other visitors.

After speaking to the assistant in the exam room, the doctor came by fairly quick. He confirmed the main issue I was having with my feet. I also asked about a couple of other things, including a bruise like spot on my nail - he gave them a quick glance and said it was nothing. Not having more discussion or attention to these areas was disappointing because these were the issues my doctor wanted me to have looked at by a specialist. Unfortunately, what the podiatrist said was nothing has indeed turned into something. I will be working with someone else to help me.

My conversation with the podiatrist was strained. He spoke quickly and asked few questions of me. Of those questions he was already making assumptions and answering them as I was speaking. His plan was for me to visit him weekly for treatment and I said that wasn't a realistic plan for me - what is the cost to visit a specialist weekly? How does one work this out while working, especially when the drive to the office isn't convenient? Why isn't there another alternative? Why didn't he know how long I'd have to visit weekly? His answer was too vague and slightly flippant. I completely understand he is the expert that went to school for years and does this every day, but where was the lesson on learning more about your patient and how to make a treatment plan work for them, even if it isn't your first choice?

After my push back, the podiatrist did say I could fill a prescription and treat myself for 6 weeks, and to call him if my issue didn't improve.

When I circled back to ask him about my nail, he took a clipping to test. He said, you can call me in 2 weeks for results. I've never had a doctor tell me I had to dial them, they've always reached me with results. But guess what? His office has never called me so he was serious. Guess I'll add that call to my To Do list.

Again, I've sought out someone else to help me. When a pharmacy called me to say he sent them a note to fulfill a prescription, I asked them not to waste their time filling it. I had no faith he knew what I needed, and now that time passed, I know that to be true.

Still waiting for my invoice. I'm sure it'll add insult to this experience but my coverage shouldn't influence my review.

I am sure this podiatrist has loyal patients, and I have so much respect for my doctor that I can only assume he sent me there because he believes in him. However, I'll never step inside again and will not recommend him to my family and friends.

      I cannot recommend this practice.

Adam Didyk seemed as though he couldn't wait to leave room. Ignored patient concerns and couldn't tell obvious signs of a broken toe. The whole time he was cagey and dismissive. After minutes of prying a solution out of him: his expert medical opinion.... ice...

If you're seeking foot treatment go elsewhere.

Dr Didyk and his staff were amazing. I was greeted right away and I felt completely at ease. I had been referred by my primary care physician for an Achilles issue. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. My treatment was easily explained and a follow up appointment made. One of Dr Didyk's staff followed up after two days to see how I was feeling. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

. When I first walked in, I noticed how nice the office smelled. There was also a television showing a wildlife documentary. The staff that greeted me were friendly and professional. Everyone was friendly and professional. The doctor took his time and explained everything to me and he asked me if I had any questions. I was given some orthotics to help me. I also noticed that they sell healthier nail polish and they may sell shoes. I noticed some on display. The office is clean and they have small footprints on the floor to guide you to the exit.

This place is a complete RIP OFF. My husband came in for a sore on his foot, they gave him an ointment day of and then sent his samples off. After insurance $ 411 bill! INSANE! No one at East End can justify why the tests were done. They never warned us before hand the amount this would cost and now after the fact-- 3 months later after blaming the pathology lab- come to find out- it was their shady business tactics! DONT GO HERE

Came here due to plantar fasciitis. Still undergoing treatment with Dr. Angela. I've received good treatment, to this point; orthopedic inserts, specifically designed for my feet; and preventative measures to take, to alleviate my discomfort.

Looking forward to making this review 5 stars, once my treatment is complete!

So I came to Louisville for my birthday and I had this ingrown toenail. I tried to go to a nail place and they worked on it but it wasn't enough so a lady referred to Dr Angela Didyk l, let me tell you she is AWESOME. Very professional, charismatic and great at what she does. I would definitely recommend her for any procedure when it comes to feet and ankles! Thanks Doc.

I was referred to this practice by my primary doctor. (I'm reaching out to her as well to ensure that she does not recommend them to anyone else.)

Dr Adam Didyk was the doctor who came in to see me. I waited in the small room for approximately 20 minutes following X Rays that were taken prior to me even meeting w/ the doctor. He did not listen to what I had been through over the past several years only wanted to know what my pain was TODAY. He then recommended his inserts that were $45 and not covered under insurance. I was very upset when I left his office as I had spent $35 on a copay and not sure what the X rays will end up costing, all for him to tell me that i needed inserts.

I would definitely never recommend this practice to anyone.

Doctor Angela, simply put, is awesome. Very kind, caring, and goes way out of her way to help you. She came into the office on a day off just to check my wife's foot because she had gotten it wet a few days after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Angela Didyk.

Terrible office practices. They are unable to successfully submit an insurance claim. I would not recommend them.

The quality of the care does not matter if the office staff is unable or unwilling to provide a basic level of customer service.
