My wife and I needed a getaway! For a change we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender did not seem fully at ease, and I must say I never recalled anyone eating at the bar during our previous visits. That said, it was still a good overall experience! We started with adult beverages, a Manhattan for me and a Whisky Sour for my wife. Sitting at the bar, it's nice to watch the preparation. My wife really enjoyed her beverage and mine was pretty good. I only needed to remind the bartender to add bitters to my Manhattan. Unfortunately they did not have Angostura Bitters, only Orange. Oh well. We did not order any appetizers. My wife decided on their Chicken Strips with a Spinach Salad and Curled French Fries while I opted for their Fried Shrimp and Scallops, Rice Pilaf, and French Onion Soup. The soup was served along with my wife's salad. I thought the soup was very delicious! My wife's salad was fresh and the warm bacon dressing flavorful. Our main courses came out after we were finished with the firsts. My wife's chicken strips had a light cornmeal breading and the fries were really thick. My scallops and shrimp were fairly large with the same cornmeal breading. Very delicious! Overall a pretty good visit. We arrived about 1645 and departed about an hour later without seeing anyone else come in?

WOW!! I can not think of a time where as a customer I have been treated so badly!!!!!!
Our group of 4 was treated like crap the whole time we were there!!
They have a bar but don't bother to sit there while you're waiting for your table because you will be told " IM MAKING DRINKS FOR MY TABLE YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT" and wait we did.
6:45 reservations seated at 7:45
sat at the bar for 45 mins without being served 1 drink!! But then 2 guys walk in sit down 5 mins later they have a coffee & a beer. Wife says WOW! we have been here 45 mins they will not serve us, he said I'm part owner and that's the other owners girlfriend.Ok, still no drinks. Finally seated in the enclosed back patio that's cold, with no door handles to get in or out!!
Wait 15 more minutes for the server to come around, when she does my wife ordered her drink and then says I'm also ready to order food. The server really nasty says let's get the drinks first!! then the food. We should have left but we drove an hour because we wanted to try something different!!
NEVER AGAIN!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
$15.99 for 4 pieces of shrimp laying on lettuce, with cocktail sauce. We where told you get 5 pieces????? Not that it matters!! $15.99!!

to start, we had reservations on Saturday night and although there were many open tables we had to wait past our reservation time. waitress took our order for drinks as we decided on food. the guys went with the perch dinners and us girls had rib eye steaks. all ordered Cole slaw as a side. Failed to bring out the fourth dish of coleslaw! the waitress brought out food out and gave the wrong steaks, no big deal to switch plates. asked for a refill on my drink, never got it. waitress never returned to ask how food was. both steaks were tough and at the price of $33 each, they should have melted in our mouth!! the perch dinners were enjoyed which was the only plus. when request for a manger, turned out to be our waitress and her attitude was not very pleasant but more on the rude side.
thankfully we had gift cards to use.

my suggestion, don't go for the steaks!! two steaks, both tough to chew!! go for the perch but skip the coleslaw as it was dry as a bone!

I only suggest going for the perch but skip the over priced dry steaks!!

Service was good. Had ribeye (flat grilled) was just ok, French onion soup was good, fried fish was ok, but pretty greasy. Sat on patio with Great atmosphere. Great local beer. Menus could use some extra detail

This place is amazing! The perch has to be the best I've ever had and I've had some really good perch!! Will definitely be back for more! Definitely a must try if I'm the area!

Just stupid, crazy high prices. Laughable. The girl was nice upfront, but there's no way I would spend is insane prices on their food.

Mac and cheese was not great but the mozzerela sticks are incredible with their homemade marinara sauce

They have a great Perch sandwich here, and the staff is super friendly and hard-working. They also have a couple of really nice patios. The place is tucked away in a wooded setting off the beaten path, but surprisingly close to I-71.

Good food with big portions. Everyone loved their steaks. Staff was friendly . Well come back soon.
