Dryer Vent Wizard of Northshore Chicago

Collected $49 consultation fee and made verbal agreement to perform work with the expectation that a formal quote/scheduling for service would happen and after numerous follow ups over the past three weeks, still no response. I would not recommend this company based on my experience unless you are ok with losing your money on a consolation for a company that might ghost you if you agree to hire them.

Trying to schedule an appointment was an exercise in frustration. Made an appointment and then got 4 different voice messages to call back and reschedule as they had no technicians available on the date they initially gave me. Each time I called back as instructed, I was told that the original appointment was still a valid appointment, only to receive another message 5 minutes later to call and reschedule. I did this 4 times and each time I had to give a different person all my information. If this is how they handle the scheduling, I do not want to find out how well they do with the actual service call. I am quite sure I can find someone else to clean a dryer vent without having to deal with this level of incompetence.

Manny is great! He was on time and quickly assessed the best way to clean my dryer vent. Will be calling him again for my next maintenance!

I did not expect to have to pay as much as I did for routine maintenance. I was told prior to making my appointment I would receive a discount for being referred to this company by Fix it Guy Chicago which does not offer cleaning services, however the technician informed me once onsite that that was a lie. The technician's demeanor was a little rough but he did complete the job of cleaning out my dryer vents. I could have saved money if I would have used my HOA's service. Lesson learned but the job did get done effectively.

For the past few years, we have hired Dryer Vent Wizard to come service our Dryer Vent annually. They are very thorough and are very efficient in their work. I would definitely continue to use Dryer Vent Wizard and refer them to anyone who needs a great job done on their dryer vents!

I would not being doing business with this company again. We had a technician come out to check out our dryer vent a couple of weeks ago. The tech came out, checked out cent and said he wouldn't be performing any work as it was cold and they don't do work when it's under 45 degrees outside . However, we still had to pay a $60 service fee for someone to tell us he wouldn't be doing anything? Very disappointing and will not contact again.

Mory is great -- thorough, knowledgeable, and explains everything clearly. A dryer repair service told us that he is the best in the city for dryer vent cleaning! We'd agree !

My brand new LG dryer wouldn't function properly due to a broken outdoor vent, which allowed extremely cold air to flow into the unit. A repair person came out in -25 degree weather to make the fix at a reasonable cost. Kudos!

I had a different company come by to give me a quote on cleaning my vents (Mr. Duct) and they said it would be absolutely impossible to do and that I had the wrong type of vents. Manny came through and said- ok well, here's the price, want to get it done?

He was very knowledgable about all things dryer, which I needed as a new homeowner, and he gave me some recommendations on next steps in the coming years to make sure everything continues to run smoothly.

Working with my condo association to hire this guy to help out all of the units. Highly recommend!

They did a great job. Other companies wanted to do major repairs or charge me for a too much for a too frequent cleaning. They were fair honest and reasonable. I recommend them.
