OMG these guys are fantastic. We had totally backed up showers and toilets on our second floor townhouse. First plumber recommended Drain Saver as they didn't have a long enough snake. Drain Savers came a few hours later and over 2 hours fixed the problem with their monster snake and this included removing and replacing a toilet. Brian and Stephen were friendly and super competent (and very nice). They wore booties to avoid marking our floors and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. If you have baked up pipes these are your people! 100% recommended.

Raul S.Greenwich, CT552Jan 3, 2018Used this company because of all the good reviews guys came fast and were very clean however when they did the job they cracked the drain pipe which I had to call a plumber to fix because they don't repair drains !! They told me it cracked because the drain was all rusted out but as you can see it from the photo I attached they cracked the pipe with the snake!! Needless to say I will never use these guys again.

I'm sorry that you had to repair your pipe after we snaked it out.
There is NO way of getting around to clearing a drain line without
introducing a hard snake wire into the drain. My experience is that
a pipe that is in good condition will not break or puncture. You can
hit a pipe with a hammer all day if its in good condition. And most
problems occur at the turns as you experienced. Also some
customers use acid or draino before we get the call. Chemicals
99% of the time don't work they actually start to weaken the pipe.
That looked like a 1.5" or 2" line so he used the 1/2" snake wire
to clear the drain line.
I'm willing to pay 1/2 of your bill to ease the experience you had.
Please call me and I will make good on that!!

Called for service call on a Sunday
My senior mom had a clogged drain in the basement
The tech Eric couldn't open the clog and was angry because he says he bent the wire on the snake.
Demanded $350 cash payment and left. Said we have to call someone else.
BEWARE!!!

My main sewer line backed up, and so happy I found them on Yelp. The reviews are all true. They are good guys, smart, and reasonably priced. Local as local can get.
I have recommended them already, and will continue to do that.

Drain Saver provided me with exceptional service. I had a flooding issue caused by clogged up leader drains. They sent a truck to my house immediately, the workers were extremely courteous and efficient and they worked tirelessly in hot and humid conditions until the job was complete.
I requested a follow-up visit two days later and Drain Saver again dispatched a crew to my house quickly who were more than eager to ensure I was happy with the work.

Called them for a clogged toilet and they immediately went to open sewer pipes. They ended up charging me for a lot of unnecessary work and then scratched the toilet bowl while removing the clog. I called them based on positive reviews here, but beware....
