Well, anybody that knows me. Knows my spirit animal is a dragonfly. So seeing this cool Dragonfly Cinema and that they show The Rocky Horror Picture Show the first Saturday of every month, I believe.
I had to stop and get pictures and if I'm ever back in their Hood I am going to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show without a doubt.
Great little town by the way.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2012First to Review
Cute and cheap, and they show great movies (a selection of indie, foreign, classics, and new movies with strong stories). It's definitely worth it to get a VIP card - they email you the movie selections and showtimes (Fri-Sun) each week and you pay only $5 a person. If you go in the afternoons, you will usually get your pick of seats, but evening showings can be more full (though I've never seen it completely packed).
We live in Bremerton and recently discovered the foot ferry, which take you to just a block away from the theater (and Bay Street Bistro - our favorite dinner+movie date option).Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Launa S.Bremerton, WA134Nov 1, 2014
We premiered our film here the day before Halloween and were very impressed with both the venue and the way we were treated. The Dragonfly offered the best rates for renting a theater in the Kitsap area by far and the customer service leading up to the premiere was amazing.
On the day of the event, the woman working the lobby area (Erica) was so helpful while we set up the red carpet and auction. She also removed all peanut products from the snack bar when she learned a few of our stars were deathly allergic to peanuts. The premiere went very well (we sold out) and Erica was always there to help. Our attendees loved the intimate feel of the Dragonfly and everyone said they'd come back in the future.
Also, as an added bonus, the popcorn is truly amazing.
Thank you so much for making the "Ghost Noir" premiere truly memorable and magical!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenneth L.Vancouver, WA4843724Dec 22, 2015
This is a little tiny "old school" theater in downtown Port Orchard. Really cute with really nice staff. Very intimate setting. If you are looking for upscale luxury theater this is not it. But it is a really nice family venue. We enjoyed it a lot. Thanks!

This is a cool little gem of a theater. I was there to take in a midnight movie and it was really fun! The owner seems to be really into movies and engaging with the community and that counts for a lot especially if you want to try something different and unique. Prices seemed pretty reasonable and the theater was pretty well kept. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is a funky cinema house, throwback to days when there were lots of small independent theaters with second-run films. Alas their taste in films isn't mine and they rarely give me a reason to attend. When their second-run films are recent, I've already seen them. When they're older, they're not that well selected, for my tastes anyway, or they're too common and seen them at least twice and could stream them this minute without going out. "If I ran the place" it'd be like an repertory cinema with clutches of mini-festivals -- a film noir month, a samurai film month, a horror fest in October of course. But dream on. They're doing their best in what streaming has made a pretty hard business for success.

LOVE this theater! Always pleased.with the movie selections, usually end up going 2-4 tines a month. You can't beat the $5 VIP tickets-every time!
Staff is always welcoming. Concessions are very reasonably priced.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kari S.Bremerton, WA07Oct 17, 2015
Best Theatre I have ever been to...ever! They show independent films and old classics along with popular movies. Amazing popcorn with real butter. This is a gem in Port Orchard, worth coming to from afar!

They were offering free movie showings of Polar Express for Port Orchard's Christmas festival. It was the first time I've been in there. I was very impressed. The staff was super nice, the theater is really clean despite how old it is, and concessions were plentiful and cheap. The theater has this small town family feel that you cannot get at the Regal up the street. Will consider coming here to watch a movie in the future.

Fantastic old movie theater! Shows great movies, usually one old and one new, and for a great price! Also, the popcorn is the best around.
