Don Vito's never fails me! Love eating here sauces are delicious every time we eat here we love it. Price is very fair. Barbara always takes care of me! If you love authentic Italian this is the place!

Don Vitos is an Original Ialian restraunt. The food is authentic and delicious, while you feel the ambiance surround you. Barbara runs the place with laughter and love while making everyone happy and saited, you feel ike family.

We came on a Saturday night at 730 pm for pizza. Barbara said they were not doing pizzas. We ordered pasta dishes, all were good size portions and hot. Decor is old Gangster movie theme. We were the only table and service was fast.

Best Italian I've Ever Had
No joke! This Italian spot made our whole trip to Daytona. The owner/ our server, Barbara, is a friggin Legend!! We felt like family the whole time, our food was almost TOO good, we left so stuffed because we couldn't stop eating it. If you see 1 bad review, ignore it because it's not true. This place is a GEM and I'd travel back to Daytona just for the baked ziti. Also the Caesar salad ... wow didn't think you could make a caesar anything special but it was delicious and big portion. The Lasagna omg let me tell you.. fantastic!! Her son stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied and we ended up chatting, such a great guy, truly felt like home & home cooked meal. All around a lovely spot. Thanks again Barbara !! Much love!

Daytona needs a slice

Barbara is the heart of the restaurant. Character abounds in this family restaurant.
You get out of the car go the the door and realize this is either going to be the restaurant no body goes to or a hidden gem not far down from the race track.

3 other people described meal as great and delicious as they paid to leave. One lady said it was the best eggplant parm and she would definitely be coming back.
They are presently changing the menu but what we had was definitely fresh from the kitchen.
We had the knots, cheese pizza, eggplant parm
And carbonara with chicken.
I'd get the eggplant again but would put it on pizza. The carbonara was very tasty and one of Barbara's sons favorite.
The helping were plentiful. We got ours to go but left wanting for nothing.
We'd return to get our pizza and ravioli fix.
Leave the hunger take the cannoli.

Starting with the appetizers.... The bruschetta was explained to be the best anywhere and it was far from it, but it's their recipe and it's everyone's taste....however, on a bright note, the meatballs and marinara were yummy. The bread is great and made in house, but served with fake cheap spread and lessened it's flavor ...we all knew who the owner was since she stayed at

Food was delicious! The marinara sauce is excellent and the garlic knots are a must. Left completely stuffed but worth every bite. Would love to go back and try a pizza or calzone next time.

What a great hole in the wall! We know your thinking seafood when u visit the beach, but this place is not to be overlooked!

The owner was also our waitress, takes a minute, but very cool and casual. The wait was worth it. The marinara sauce is off the charts!

Escape the hustle and bustle of the beach and busy area's, set aside an hour and a half or so and go enjoy some amazing italian food!

The best bruschetta ever!!! The stuffed shells were amazing!!! The Ricotta Soooo creamy!! From Jacksonville.. definitely will return!!! Made us feel like family!!! Yummmmmm

Outdated interior. Very dark and old.
Duck tape on some of the booths.
Reserved signs on tables to make you feel like they were going to have a full restaurant. We were one of three tables on a night that should have been much busier.
Food. Average to slightly below average and the red sauce was well below average. Not sure why there are so many good reviews. Maybe folks just don't know real good Italian food.
