Domus has all of the makings of a fabulous restaurant. It is spotlessly clean. The staff is efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. Domus is decorated beautifully with a wonderful ambiance.
My meal started with a delicious appetizer platter. It consisted of one of the best meatballs I've ever had. It had delicious meat surrounded by Ricotta cheese. It also had a very nice bruschetta, and a tasty eggplant appetizer.
Next came the salad. It was a very nice Caesar Salad with freshly grated cheese, unfortunately it didn't have any anchovies. I love anchovies, but I know some people hate them. A good Caesar salad either has some anchovy paste in the dressing or anchovies on the side, so that everyone is satisfied.
For the main course, I had Chicken Marsala. This is where the bottom fell out of the meal. The Chicken and sauce was tasteless and the onions that accompanied the dish were bitter and frankly, tasted badly.
I had Tiramisu for dessert and it was deliciously creamy and perfect!
Domus has the potential of being one of the best restaurants in town, but they are not there yet. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, or should have sent it back. But that shouldn't have been necessary at such an otherwise excellent restaurant.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Aaron W.Columbus, OH8214877Feb 4, 2018
Amazing Italian restaurant.
The wait staff is very knowledgeable, and the food is excellent.
I've had the veal parm, veal chop, and the Alfredo here and all stellar!
The tomato mozzarella salad is also amazing, very fresh homemade mozzarella.
Don't forget the tiramisu for desert!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Foodlover M.Miami Beach, FL0320Jun 9, 2019

Very busy in a Saturday night. That's a good sign. People don't normally check out new places near their big weekend night. So there appeared to be a lot of regulars. That's always good. Couldn't get a table so we sat at the bar. Wines by the glass offered were average...varieties you can get at Publix or WF for under $30. Not impressive. Went with a Villa Antinori Red, it was fine but $14 a glass. Ordered a meatball salad which was surprisingly good. Romaine, red onion, shredded carrot, cucumber were all very fresh and the tomatoes were delicious, which you don't get to say to often in Florida. Slightly dressed with oil and vinegar. Actually quite good. Meatballs were large (2), tender and delicious. Served with 2 big dollops of ricotta. I say surprisingly good because a meatball salad doesn't sound appetizing. But I was between wanting an appetizer (hot) or a salad....so there you have it !
We found friends at a nearby table who enjoyed their pasta very much. Pasta was al dente, marinara was good and they were also enjoying the seafood. Menu Ha are at least 6 veal dishes so I will return for a chop next time in Boca. If you are going on a weekend, make a reservation. Valet is only $5 :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 12458561Jan 17, 2017
The food was very good salads r big enough for 2 main dishes a nice size
Restaurant is very attractive 4 of us enjoy out dinner Dover of solo was good veal par good chicken par was very good price same as most $$$ restaurants but they charge for side of pasta $8 that is unreasonably When restaurant nickel and dime it make me not want to return I would rather have them make dinner more then charge $8 for pasta (paste with tomato sauce is so inexpensive ) what r they thinking !,,,,,Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renata P.Boca Raton, FL37Jul 19, 2018
Last night I went to dinner with my sister and brother in law at Domus.
We were extremely happy with the quality of food and service.
This was a great surprise for me when we arrived it was a bit hot to be outside so we went straight to the bar where we found Honey Ackerman The Bartender .I just love this girl . The food was amazing
I had the fish salad app and the octopus it was divine.
My brother had the pasta with broccolini and the dover sole also fantastic.
My sister and i share the apps and arugula salad.
We got there around 630 and it was happy hour in which we had small meatballs and drinks
We are going back tomorrow for more happy hour and try different things on the menu.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was outstanding, it was reasonably priced and the restaurant was quiet. I love actually hearing my dining companions! Our table ordered the penne a la vodka (the kids took it down! So good!) scallops (delicious), chopped salad, grilled octopus and other home made fresh pastas. All delicious. My daughter loved how the fresh bread was served with pesto to start the meal.
Highly recommend for delicious Italian food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 21, 2016
Party of 5 out for a good Italian dinner. Great reviews helped us find it in the mix.
Started with the crab cake and crispy brussel sprouts. Crispy was supposed to be descriptive but burnt was the term we would use. The crab cake was good on crab meat but lacked flavor.
Entree was spaghetti and the chicken parm. Both were decent but nothing to write home about.
One star: The ambiance was very nice.
Two stars: The service was amazing and very attentive.
Food was only good enough to earn another star.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lele L.North Miami Beach, FL032Sep 28, 2016

Really amazing Italian foot. Eggplant was perfect and the octopus was over the moon. The martini cost was too high for the area so be warned. They would have gotten 5 stars if their drink prices met local norms
