This company is so honest. I was quoted even by people in my former church that are mechanics so much more for just an oil change, telling me I needed hundreds of dollars of more work that I knew I didn't need. Alex and his crew are so sweet and kind and HONEST...a WONDERFUL place for a single woman to come. They WILL NOT take advantage of a female and will be so kind. I got a great oil change and everything topped off for such a reasonable price. Thank you Alex!!!

I spun a rod in my 70' Oldsmobile 442 high performance 455 cid engine. It needed to be completely rebuilt. This is a show quality car and engine. I was referred to Alex at D&A and was a bit apprehensive as it is a small shop. I was assured by Alex that the car would be well cared for. I was impressed with the way he pre ordered parts and staged cars for the major repairs, thus avoiding excessive down time for the vehicle. He put the car on a lift and covered it while the engine work was done. I can tell you that engine was beautiful before and even more so after the rebuild. And as for performance, well after some trial and error with carburetor and distributor tuning, the results were simply amazing. Wow. Álex was not satisfied until it ran up to expectations. And my expectations were high. Price was fair. I'm convinced he and his guys can handle any auto repair.

Alex is very nice, honest, helpful and fast and best price around for a Full Synthetic Oil change. I am going to DNA from now on and I live in Laguna Niguel. :)

We are blessed to have a small honest shop like this in South OC , I used to own a small auto shop I know how difficult it can be working on all makes and models. They have a tremendous amount of experience and a solid team. They fixed a ton of mistakes I made on my suspension and get me a great alignment on my Lifted BMW X5. 100% recommend them !

Be aware, in my opinion these guys are not honest and the coupon ads always different than the real price. If you decide to have work done at least get a quote for the real price on all the mark up and then assume higher for the surprises. I have had work done there and inquired about pricing and it's always different and substantially higher.

Alex was SO helpful when ALL of our cars needed service within 3 weeks of each other. We knew we were putting off service on 2 of our cars, so when we mentioned we had 2 other cars coming in AFTER our 1st car, Alex was more than helpful in putting together a deal for us to alleviate some of the cost.
We had a quick turnaround on when each car was finished, which was amazing and we even had my Mom take her car there as well. In fact, she had another issue that didn't need to be fixed immediately, yet Alex informed us how many miles/months we had until we would need to address that issue, so that we could plan accordingly with regards to cost.
And when we got our car back it was immaculately clean, which it was a disaster from my son coming back from college.

Extraordinary Customer Service -- Exceptional Timely Repairs
Antonio has worked and supervised his team on my 1991 MR2 Turbo Toyota for 5 years. I came to the shop through the recommendation of Napa Auto (located next door). No other automotive shop would address my car's needs--a rebuilt engine. Antonio and his skilled team located an engine after lengthy investigations, followed by rebuilding it; also located and rebuilt my transmission and other "discontinued parts." Their research was country-wide from Los Angeles to Maryland to Modesto and more. They never gave up. They didn't say "forget it." I wanted to keep my car of 30 years and they were there to support me!
Their friendly warm greetings never faltered for everyone who entered the shop, which they have continuously upgraded to be welcoming to the customers. What is unbelievable, Antonio wrote the advertisement for the sale of my car. A statement of grace and care. He has gone beyond the limits of "customer service." I highly recommend DNA Automotive - it is an incredible business model. He continually upgrades the technology and skills of his employees - bringing in youth to learn the trade. His rates are reasonable as are the hours. He and his Team are accommodating.

STAY CLEAR !!!! They advertise a 29.95 4 Wheel Alignment made 2 attempts to get it done. Drove from San Clemente the first time after calling them and they told me to come. When I get there 15 min. later they had a car on the machine and that it could not be moved till the next day and to come back. So the 2nd time I call and go there they told me that it would be 89.00 because of my car.If they would have just told me that the first time I was there and they wasted my time I would have not gone back!!!!! I think they just like to take advantage a females. VERY RUDE!!!!!

Came in for an oil leaking situation and Alex and his employees took exceptional care of my vehicle. They were courteous, honest, and went above and beyond my expectations.
