DJ Jeffty's Professional DJ/MC Service

DJ Jeffty did an amazing job at my daughters wedding a few weeks ago at the Barns at Cooper Molera! He was responsive, easy to work with and collaborated well with the venue and other vendors. Most importantly, he played songs that got our diverse group of guest dancing! I would definitely recommend booking Jeffty for your wedding or event!

Jeffty is the man! We hired him for our wedding in Santa Cruz and he killed it. He was fantastic to work with throughout the process and kept the crowd out on the dancefloor all night. We had a blast and can't recommend highly enough.

DJ Jeffty worked with my husband and I to have the most entertaining wedding reception of our dreams! Our friends used him at their wedding, and we knew we had to have him. Our engaged friends are also going to be reaching out to him soon for their wedding.
He gave us a music worksheet so we could spell out our favorite requests and songs we did not want played.
His MC abilities were so great, and something we didn't realize were so crucial! He kept us on track, made sure everything stayed positive, and had just such a great energy. He introduced each speech and each special dance with grace.
He played guitar and sang during our cocktail hour (swoon!) and then played music DJ-style during our wedding reception.
Plan to hire him for our wedding anniversary party someday!!

Could not have done a better job. From the phone interview we knew DJ JEFFTY was the man for the job. He was very professional and organized. He thinks to ask all the questions you wouldn't have thought of beforehand.
At the wedding he went above and beyond. Great presence with the guests, terrific music choices, and just a cool dude to have at your party. He also has a sharp attention to detail-during the speeches my husband knocked a drink over and Jeffty was right there with another one in moments. Jeffty played all the songs we wanted, and even did a funny song/ stint for our farewell we requested. We definitely recommended him as a DJ for any party.

DJ Jeffty was phenomenal right from the beginning. As we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, he came up and introduced himself, and he was very personable and made sure to see if there were any requests or specifics I wanted to add before we got started.

When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we had a phone interview with Jeff and instantly knew he was our guy. He was easy to talk to and was very enthusiastic about making the music selection exactly what we wanted. Jeff was very flexible with what music we wanted him to play and was able to handle every request we threw at him, like not playing cheesy wedding songs like the YMCA.

The dance floor was completely packed throughout the night, which was impressive because we chose for our dance floor to be outside and it was a slightly chilly out. People later told us that they did not want to leave to use the restroom because they didn't want to miss the dancing! There wasn't one song that cleared the dance floor, it seemed like each song was better than the previous.

The best part about DJ Jeffty was that he was enjoying the music just as much as we were. I occasionally looked over to the DJ booth and saw him dancing and singing right along with the songs.

He truly loves what he does, and does a great job at it!

DJ Jeffty is fantastic! His personality is warm, sweet, unassuming and kind yet sparkling. He is energetic in just the right way and can read a crowd to adjust his music if necessary to relate to everyone. Found him on Thumbtack when looking for a DJ for a middle school dance. Contacted 3 of his references and received glowing reviews from them all.
Hired him 3 years ago and have been booking him a year in advance ever since. I actually hesitate to write a great review as he may become more difficult to book!

DJ Jeffty just did my daughter's wedding last night at Testarosa Winery. He was amazing!!! He is so organized and patient. My daughter didn't pick the first song out until the day of and he was so chill about it. He was great introducing the first dances and speeches. He made sure to play all the songs on her list and what was especially amazing is that he played acoustical guitar for the ceremony and it was perfect. We feel so lucky to have found him.

DJ Jeffty was such a pleasure to work with and everything from start to finish with him was effortless, stress free and amazing. He totally made the dance party everything we had in mind and more! Even getting my father in-law to do some dancing which is hard to do!
DJ Jeffty has a very simple but perfect checklist to complete prior to your wedding with questions that include what songs you must have played, what songs you don't want played, and who you do not want to make a speech and other questions. We love music so had some specific requests about which songs we wanted played but also gave him some areas to fill in which he did perfectly.
He also supplied microphones for the ceremony and speeches and was so professional from start to finish.
Seeing him with a big smile on his face, dancing along to the music and cheering us on was a major highlight of our day. We also had many guest come up to us and tell us how fabulous they thought he was. 10/10 recommend DJ Jeffty if you want to have a fabulous dance party at your wedding!!

We hired DJ Jeffty for my daughter's wedding at Sesnon House on the Cabrillo College campus on 4/28/18. What a GREAT DJ! He did a wonderful job--not only playing all the songs that we liked (and we gave him an extensive list)--but also in announcing the bridal party, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the first dance! He arrived really early to set up and the sound quality of the equipment was top notch! Very easy to work with--enthusiastic, great energy, great attitude--everything that you could ever want! I wish that I had a chance to thank him at the end of the night--things were a bit hectic as we were cleaning up--so THANK YOU! You made my daughter's wedding day a memorable one!

Short story- My wife and I got engaged in June of 2016 and decided to get married in Big Sur. This turned out to be a much, much harder undertaking than we could've known- difficulty booking a venue in the first place (due to booked and difficult to deal with venues) and then long heartbreaking delays where we eventually had to reschedule our wedding due to Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge getting damaged by floods in early 2017. Fast forward 22+ months from our engagement and we FINALLY had our Big Sur wedding this last month. Although we had always had very high hopes for getting married in Big Sur (high enough hopes to make the judgment call that it was worth waiting so long for) it was better than we'd ever expected. Our Big Sur wedding simply would NOT have happened, much less been as staggeringly wonderful, if not for the team of Mariah Green (our wedding coordinator), Kendal and Anthony DeLaura (our photographers), and Jeffty Martinez (otherwise known as DJ Jeffty).

For DJ Jeffty's part- he was not only extremely accommodating and easy about our changing wedding dates- he was also extremely accommodating to me personally. Other than my wife, the music was the most important parts of the wedding to me (and maybe in my life in general haha) so I some pretty wild requests of DJ Jeffty- I asked him about his DJ equipment (in detail) and asked if I could dictate not just the general songs or a few special songs, but pick out EVERY single song for the wedding myself- from beginning to end. DJ Jeffty not only humored my request, but help lead me through it, and patiently waited while I put together some ridiculously long playlists.

So during the actual day- it's hard to describe just how much of a difference it made but Jeffty brought a warmth, charisma and just overall positive vibe with him that was something everyone could immediately feel.

So my review then-

Was DJ Jeffty reliable and on time? YES.

Does he have good pricing? YES.

Was he easy to communicate with? Uhh more than you know.

Was he partially responsible in making our wedding intangibly better than we could have ever hoped? HELL YES he was
