We love Ben! You can tell Ben is an experienced hair professional that really cares about the results you're looking for.

His shop is right off 30th avenue which is close to everything. I first found Ben as I needed a blow out before an event, and my first experience was great. He runs the entire salon himself, he does take walk ins but it's best if you call ahead of time.

I then went back to Ben for a hair color! I wanted to go dark and he delivered. No green or unwanted color in my hair, and of course the perfect blow out.

I will be going back to Ben in the spring for highlights!

To do one color on my long hair, with blow out, I paid ~$120 with tip.

For just the blow out I paid $40 with tip.

Ben is worth 3x what he charges. I always leave happy. He's one of Astoria's hidden gems. I had a bob, a shag just show the man a picture and he'll deliver. I absolutely love his work.

I and my mother have been doing our hair for a long time with Ben. He does such a great job! i get a lot of compliments every time my hair is done!

Ben is my new go-to hair dresser since moving to Astoria. He takes his time, provides great service, and the results are amazing! I will be back shortly to get styled for an event and I can't wait to see the results.

Ben truly made our day by giving my husband and me wonderful haircuts! We called ahead to book our appointment and everything went smoothly and we also had a very safe experience, with Ben wearing a mask and having no problem washing and cutting our hair without removing our masks during the entire time!

I have been here ~3 times so far and I absolutely love this hair salon. Ben is awesome! He takes his time (I never feel like he is rushing to get to his next client), the salon is clean, he is affordable and he follows the COVID protocols, which I appreciate. But most importantly, he does a fantastic job on my highlights every time. I always feel like a million dollars walking out of the salon. And I usually get many compliments the next day when I see others. I have found my new hair salon in Astoria that I do not plan on leaving anytime soon.

Sad... got to my appointment on time and someone else's haircut was being finished up. That's fine, I'm okay with waiting. While waiting, someone else comes in who had missed her appointment earlier that day. She was clearly friends with the owner, as they were chatting each other up. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was rushed into the chair without getting my hair washed (and it really needed to be washed). My hair was straightened and cut with lightning speed, I was charged the same amount I had been charged previously for a wash, cut, and blow dry, and was whisked out of there. I had to fix my bangs myself when I got home, as they were cut unevenly.

I got to my appointment on time, but was hastily pushed out of the way for someone who had missed theirs. Very upsetting and I won't be back.

I always pass by this salon when I am getting something from the area. This time I decided I would get a cut from Ben because I was looking for a new salon.

Ben didn't disappoint. I went from having semi-long hair to short/medium hair and I love it. Even the guys at work noticed Ben's great work. One coworker commented about the layers that were added in the back and you know guys (especially straight ones) never pay attention to those kinda things.

The best part is the reasonable price. I will definitely return
