I have used the Dick's team on 3 separate occasions for carpet, cork and shade install with excellent service and professional service

Dan was absolutely fantastic. There are many companies out there to cover all flooring needs, and after extensive research (and I do my research well), none came close to them in therms of professionalism, quality and pricing. Don't look any further!

My experience with Dicks Carpet One at this location was through an Insurance claim. They came out RIGHT AWAY, and talked the talk so they could take my deductible. After collecting the money, they NEVER showed up again. I had to call my insurance company again and again, until finally my adjuster told Dan to meet him at my house.

Dan was angry at my persistence and his guys did a horrible job. The hardwood flooring had to be done twice and the pad under the carpet was not replaced so it is spotty and uneven when you walk on it. My insurance company had to bring another Carpet team in from Fremont to correct their mistakes. Dan's guys punctured my furniture and bashed in a game table. So on top of the horrible service and work, they ruined the things they put their hands on. Was this intentional, as a way of getting back at me? You decide.

In the end, an original $8000 claim, turned into $23,000 paid out by insurance because of Dan's incompetency and negligence. I don't understand why he is allowed to work through the insurance companies.

Dick's Carpet One is very customer focused - Fast, honest, and very competent. Completed "Waterfall" installation on stairs with pies perfectly. As usual.

Fantastic working with these people! We needed a runner on our stairs, and they had a lot of options for patterns and widths. We were able to take home the sample boards to see how they looked on the stairs, which was much MUCH better than just taking a pic on a phone.
The stairs have a tricky turn at the top, and the installer was able to piece the rug between the tread and the riser so it looks fantastic. Very happy with the final product!!

Dicks Carpet One has now done all my new carpeting and vinyl plank flooring. The crew run by Raul is excellent. They show up on time, do quality work, and clean up after. I highly recommend them. They had to move a washer and dryer and refrigerator in very tight confines, and did it all without a single next to the wall!

I had a very good experience with Scott Dilling and the installers Alberto and his helper at Dick's Carpet. I got a number of estimates for the Vinyl plank floor that I wanted installed and Although Dick's was not the least expensive, his bid was itemized and I knew exactly what I was paying for; he was on time and did what he said he would. This is important to me. I watched the installers work and they clearly knew what they were doing. The floor looks great and the room has a much improved look, just what I wanted!

I have been so fortunate to work with Dan Biles at Dick's for nearly 15 years. He is a total pro, resourceful (recently found me the most gorgeous designer fawn spots carpet for my entry stairway and home office), reliable, flexible, and all-around amazing to work with. The quality of the carpet, the service, the installation is always superb. Dan has helped me with all of the carpet in my house--from huge spaces to tiny ones. I cannot recommend Dan and this company highly enough!

I had a good experience with Dicks. Our original installer was complaining that some of our baseboard tile would be damaged and would not take any responsibility for any damage. Fired. Tina came out and made the measurements, about 3000sf of HOA common area, and returned the quote quickly. The price was acceptable and Dicks picked up the carpet we had ordered through the original "installer." You always expect some sort of damage moving and cutting large rolls of carpet around, especially in our extensive and tight staircases, but it was clear their installers took good care and respected our building. The final result was very good, especially around the stairs where the angles and construction of the steps are challenging.

I never thought I'd say this, but I am officially a fan of Dicks.
