She teaches through positive reinforcement while being realistic and not sugarcoating her feedback on students' flute playing. She pushes her students to do their best by setting high standards and challenging them to go outside of their comfort zones. Diana cares a lot for each student and very invested in each one. She caters her teaching approach to each students' learning style and has her students' best interests at heart.

With Diana's tutelage, I was accepted into multiple graduate programs across North America with scholarship offers at each school. I could not have done it without her help!

First of all, Diana is such an amazing performer, and a combination of her knowledge and lovely personality make her an excellent teacher as well.

I only studied with her for eight months, but during that time, she completely changed me not only as a flutist but as a musician as well. She challenged and pushed me during every lesson, and I noticed that I improved very quickly.

Thanks to her help, I'm now attending my dream graduate school with merit scholarship. It's something that I thought I would never achieve--it's all thanks to Diana's guidance. I really think that that alone should speak for how much of a top-notch teacher she is.

Diana is a terrific teacher. She balances the ability to be both demanding and inspirational. She instilled in me the desire to work hard and perfect my performance on the flute. Not all musicians are able to instruct; others still have their energy invested in their own musical careers. Diana is a dedicated teacher who personalizes her instruction and makes learning music a real joy. She is endlessly patient and uses a methodical approach which is very effective.

Great teacher! Our middle-school band director recommended Diana for flute lessons for our daughter when we moved to LA a couple years ago. We have been really impressed at how much our daughter has improved in such a short time. Diana also has a positive and encouraging teaching style for kids that is both effective and inspiring.
