My experience is an interesting one... but one that i felt i needed to share..

My fiance got my engagement ring from Eddie/Diamond Traces....all the planning and design was done via email and mail as Eddie is in Miami, and we live in NYC. My ring turned out absolutely beautiful and my fiance has nothing but great things to say about Eddie.

Fast forward to being engaged, the ring is too big. I looked around NYC to bring to a jeweler, but just felt really uncomfortable leaving it somewhere i don't know... So i contacted Eddie and off the ring went back to Miami. Mind you.... I was putting the most beautiful thing I've ever owned in the mail and shipping hundreds of miles to get my ring sized.
Eddie answered every email extremely quickly and talked me off the ledge about shipping a ring to Miami. I sent the ring on Thursday, today is Monday and it's already on it's way home! Thank You Eddie!

Everything but the ring on the right has been purchased by me for my wife via Diamond Traces. I could not be happier and will continue coming back for more....

Words cannot being to express how pleased I am with my custom engagement ring from Diamond Traces. I had the pleasure of working with Eddie throughout my shopping and design process.

Although I was anxious about working remotely on something so important, and second guessing every aspect of the design and stone, Eddie was kind, patient and responsive. He answered all of my questions (and there were many!) with understanding and great humor too. The work was also done quickly, but not at the expense of quality. I believe their passion for jewelry and great service demonstrates they aren't just a typical jeweler, but rather a master craftsmen.

A few years ago when I was picking out a diamond for my (now) wife I connected with Eddie via email. I was in California and he was in NYC. Initially I was hesitant about taking delivery of a diamond in the mail but I went ahead anyway and I can not tell you enough about how plesent and how safe it was. I only felt with Eddie over the phone but I almost immediately knew I could trust what he said. I guess it's my "inner New Yorker" since I are up in the City but my instinct was correct. He's a great guy and if you decide not to buy, no worries, he's just as great. By the way, the diamond was EXACTLY as described.

STELLER!!!! Amazing service from the start...buying a big purchase like this online can be terrifying for anyone but Eddie was so nice and understanding! He was so friendly and listened to EVERYTHING I wanted in a ring, and I do have to say it is the prettiest I have ever seen. And then I brought it to a local jeweler to be appraised and THEY were even impressed. What an experience! Lastly, I needed it resized and I sent it back to Eddie who took care of it without a moment hesitation. BUY HERE!!!! You will not regret it! Thanks Eddie!

Purchased a diamond engagment ring from this company and had a terrible experience. The main stone was 4-5 off in color and 3-4 in clarity. The ring itself was poorly made. The 18k gold for setting didn't even pass an 18k acid test. The smaller diamond's holding prongs were not even and the smaller diamonds look like they could fall out. The 3rd party jeweler who inspected it for me said it look like the quality you could expect from China. Merchant refuses to refund money even though I was inside their 14 day return policy. Eddie was the person I dealt with and didn't seem to have a grasp on the english language.

Eddie was completely understanding and ready to make us happy. Eddie remained in constant contact with me throughout the entire transaction. I was never once pushed off to someone else, most importantly, he listened to EVERYTHING I said. I cry as I write this review because I continue to relive the moment when I saw my ring. "That moment" that every woman dreams of and every man dreams his woman will have when she receives it. That forever moment. I was in total awe....it was beyond PERFECT.
