I've been going to Dental Arts for over 10 years and still drive from the South Shore for the courteous and accommodating staff, excellent care and personal connection. I will continue to be a patient for many years to come.

I started going to DentalArts on the recommendation of a friend when I lived near Davis Square. I have since moved to the North Shore, but still return to DentalArts in Davis Square because of the treatment I get and satisfaction with my dental health.

Scheduling an appointment here was so easy and the staff (especially Audrey) is very kind. So happy to have a high quality dental practice in the neighborhood!

Great location, easy to schedule, very communicative, and appts are always great (Audrey is THE BEST). I love that I can also get teeth whitening services at a cleaning instead of making a separate appointment or going to another provider. So easy and effective - results are amazing!

This is a perfect dental choice for both kids and young adults. The dentists working really care about your well being while cleaning your teeth. I recently had a permanent retainer fallen loose and they fixed it with such ease!!! My dentist has music playing and fun lights of the galaxy on her ceiling while she cleans my teeth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot speak highly enough of this office! I'm a new patient, but I've already had a few procedures and a cleaning, and I am beyond impressed with everyone I've come across. Dental Arts has managed to make dental visits as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
My hygienist Audrey is incredibly kind and talented, she gave me one of the most gentle, yet effective cleanings I've ever received. Marina has also assisted and was similarly fantastic.
Dr. Izedian is shockingly talented and efficient. I typically require a lot of extra novocaine, I said as much to him and on 2 occasions he was able to numb me up on the first go, (the only dentist I've had to do so!). Further, my procedures seemed to fly by, which is extra important for someone as nervous about dental work as I am!
I also want to commend the admin staff for their kindness and efficiency. They were able to fit me in for an urgent procedure with very little notice. I called about some discomfort this week and immediately had a plan of action and time blocked for a potential additional procedure, so I have peace of mind knowing I'll be taken care of very soon. And beyond that, every single person I've talked to has been incredibly kind and helpful. I've noticed the employees all seem happy and smiling when walking about the office, not just in interactions with patients.
Given my level of dental trepidation, Dental Arts is a gdsend, and it is wonderful to feel that after years of pandemic-related dental neglect I'm finally able to get all this work taken care of without the typical stress and worry I associate with going to the dentist. I could not be more grateful and would highly recommend to anyone feeling extreme anxiety about dental appointments.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian S.San Francisco, CA17734Feb 23, 2023
This place is full of money hungry liars. They tell you one thing to your face, and then charge your insurance behind your back, even to fix the mistakes that they made. The fillings I've had here have been super problematic,, despite being adjusted, and I will never give them another dime.

Run away, this practice is very shady. I haven't had a cavity or dental issues in like 20 years. I started seeing them and suddenly I need a "deep cleaning", which was very surprising. I eventually decided to trust them and went through with it, despite it seeming like a money grab. The way they approached this and communicated made me a little uneasy and so I decided to switch to another local Somerville dental practice. What do you know? My teeth and gums are fine and no special "periodontal cleanings" are needed. 1.5 years after my last cleaning from them I receive a bill in the mail saying I have an overdue balance that will be sent to collections. They blamed a billing error on their part for sending me my very first bill 1.5 years later. I was also very confused as cleanings are covered 100% by my insurance. Apparently since I did a deep clean with them I will forever need a special cleaning which is of course more expensive and not fully covered by insurance. None of this was explained earlier on. I'm glad I switched practices, they seem to be doing some shady things and also have some very questionable billing practices.
Other than this, the office itself was clean, they sent text message reminders which was convenient, and my hygienist was always pretty good. I don't think I ever saw a dentist for more than 1 minute in any visit to judge them.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi, Colin. I apologize for the billing error. We attempted to outsource our billing recently, as a way to lighten the load on our in-office staff, and we have had quite a number of billing issues that we are in the process of correcting. It has been frustrating for us as well and I am sorry for the aggravation this may have caused you.
With regard to your description of your deep cleaning, it sounds like the problem has resolved, and the fact that your new dentist confirmed that your gums appeared healthy is an indication that the procedure was successful. - Rachel I.West Somerville, Somerville, MA123312Nov 20, 2021Updated review
I've been going to Dental Arts Davis Square over the past few years and continue to have great experiences! I mostly see Audrey for cleanings but have seen Katie as well, and now I got to meet the new Dr. Baker who was warm and welcoming. Everyone there is friendly and completely makes the nerves of going to the dentist disappear.

After a several year hiatus in dental appointments, I started coming here once I moved to Somerville and have been pleased with the whole experience. I originally did some cleanings with Bernadette and now mostly see Audrey and have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everyone here is super nice and chill and the atmosphere makes even nervous nellies like myself feel relaxed. When fun tunes are playing and your hygienist is cracking jokes, what could there be to worry about?
Since it had been a few years since I had been to the dentist, it was not a surprise that my teeth weren't in the best shape. My x-rays are always explained to me in detail and if there are problem spots, they're pointed out to me and I get an explanation on how to keep an eye on them and how to do better brushing/flossing in that area so we can observe progress next time. And I've been given suggestions about optional work I could do if I were interested, like whitening kits. But I've never felt pressured to get unnecessary work done, which is a relief.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a new dentist! Or if you haven't been to the dentist in years! If I can do it, you can do it. - Jaron M.Belmont, MA02Aug 24, 2022

I'm really pleased with the care I receive there and hands down Audrey is one of the best most comforting dentist I have ever had! She was Very professional and polite also had a very clean working area. Her choice of music also very cool. I highly recommend!
