And oh the donuts they make. The coffee is so fresh it slaps you in the face. I don't know the beans they use but very good. They also make their own bagels a customer said "great bagels". I get the donuts and coffee every time. Iced coffee is my favorite. They offer breakfast sandwiches and other snacks. I took photos of their menu it is here someplace on Yelp. Did I mention this a a locally owned small business, which makes it even better to be a customer here, not there.

Apr 3, 2020Previous reviewA great find. This old school donut shop is the best. Donut prices won't set you back for a second mortgage. Today had a jelly stick and fresh brewed coffee. A tad more jelly would be nice, I'm all about a good stuffed jelly. He got a homey bun? It is like a Boeing 747! Made fresh on the premises. Dunkin has been changing their strategy for years and no longer sells real donuts- something at least a day old, tasteless and love the American coffee here. And they have almond milk for creamer. Also breakfast sandwiches, iced and hot beverages.

So things are looking up.
Demet's is open and making donuts!!
I stopped at Demet's for an extra large iced coffee which was fabulous as always. My coffee tasted great.
I also had a chance to reminisce with George/ about some of our old stomping grounds back in the day. Definitely put a smile on my face great conversation.
If you're in the Mystic Avenue area stop in and get yourself a dozen donuts you'll be happy that you did.
Definitely a five-star establishment which is extremely hard to accomplish for a mom and pop, brick and mortar location.
Kudos all around to George and the crew at Demet's.
FYI... I'd actually pick up a dozen donuts if you're driving by since we're all staying in during this pandemic and just watching Netflix ha ha ha ha.

They serve up a real large when you order a large iced coffee not like some of those other places and the taste is fantastic I should ask what kind of beans they use because the flavor and aroma are great. Prices are extremely fair it's $3.15 for a large iced coffee and compared to most places this is an extra large iced coffee. Unfortunately during the pandemic they're not making any donuts and that's understandable because I'm sure business is extremely slow I sat out front and drink my coffee for about 15-20 minutes and no one else walked into the place I feel really bad for the small business owners right now. I hope these guys make it through because they run a great honest to goodness coffee shop. All I can say is kudos and hopefully this will go away soon so your shop will be filled with happy customers once again.

Dont think it's just a donut. This great donut shop is just that, great. Still has the nostalgia of an old school donut shop staying right with the times. The donuts are hand cut and homemade.
You want to feel 6 again? You need to here an old story about Medford? Need a reminder what love is really like?
Try the Demet's special. it will make you feel like your a child eating a REAL donut for the first time. Listen to the crowd of good ol' boys chatting up about local sports or politics.
Ask about the coffee, it's actually very good. The love they put into there donuts can only be tasted! Get there early, you will see why.

Worth the drive from Canada! Visiting Boston and decided to try the best Boston filled donuts here and were they ever! We tried a few different kinds and the donuts were all great. Clearly home made and hand made from a family recipe. Owner chatted with us and made for a memorable visit. If you get a chance, get out to Demets.

Do you know those times when your expectations fall far from reality? That's Demet's Donuts. These donuts were expensive, extremely dry, and left a yeasty after taste that left me wanting to brush my teeth. We tried both yeast and cake donuts and both came up drier than Lake Powell. The honey glaze lacked a real honey flavor, the chocolate icing and sprinkles were grocery store quality, and donuts were overcooked. Doh!

Jennifer C.Boston, MA2345534Jul 25, 2021Found this place on Yelp and I have no regrets! I gave them a call this morning to see if they had glazed jelly donuts (which they did, my aunt will be very pleased) and they let me know there were plenty left and that I could come right down and grab some.
It's definitely a local hot spot - I live in Winthrop so it was about a 17 min drive for me (no traffic)
Definitely has a very local vibe where everyone knows everyone which I think is great! I believe the man who I spoke to on the phone and who boxed the donuts was the owner and he was awesome.
When a place has superb customer service they get my utmost respect especially after the pandemic took such a toll on local businesses.
