Delray Downtowner

We learned about this service from a local when we were stranded at Walgreens with groceries and needed a ride back to the hotel. I downloaded the app and we've been using this fantastic service throughout our stay. I highly recommend it!!!

This ride device is the best! I use them almost daily. Payment is tip only so treat the drivers well- especially those that go above and beyond. They will take you to the beach, grocery, drugstore or various restaurants. They are quick W a bit of a wait on Friday and Saturday nights ( high demand)

As a resident of Delray I love this service. They are always polite, the wait time is very short, and it's a great way to hit Atlantic Ave without having to park or worry about having the third drink.

Awesome service to have for Delray residents. Will take you anywhere in the area for a few bucks. Allows you to go out and have a good time without having to worry about driving your vehicle and paying for a meter. Not to mention the safety factor around not drinking and driving. I was told the drivers only make money off of tips so make sure to give them a few dollars after your ride.

We just moved back to Delray near Atlantic and would often see the golf carts going by. Downloaded the app and with my 89 year old mom, we were picked up in 15 min and taken to dinner! Learning curve for next time is checking the pickup times in advance. Will use over and over

Used them last night for the first time and they're great. Picked us up at our hotel took us to our restaurant and back to hotel.This is so kool you don't have to worry about parking and driving while drinking. This is a free service but do tip.They use golf carts .What a wonderful idea.

I currently stayed at one of the Delray Marriotts which provides this fantastic service. The first 2 nights I used it, the guys were super charming, friendly and knowledgable with the area. Even recommended a great restaurant for my family and I! However, just now "Lea" gave me a call stating she was outside waiting, and when I stated politely I didn't need to ride after all, she repeated rudely "oh you don't need us anymore?!" and clicked. She needs a serious customer service check, best believe I'll use the service for everyone else but wouldn't risk the bad time I'd have if I got in the cart with her. I want to make sure the correct procedures are taken for her to get her attitude cleared. Nonetheless, a good service.

I can;'t believe someone is complaining about a free ride. When I see them I wave them down and hop on. I don't bother calling because Im certain that would take a lot longer. I'm a good tipper by nature, but not stupid. They are a real asset to Downtown Delray Beach. I mainly use them out of snowbird season so not sure how the service is in high season. From November to April most of restaurants Downtown are 2+ hours wait for dinner so I suspect its the same for the Downtowner.

This was a great service until recently. The drivers are accepting rides and then immediately ending them without picking you up!! Of course there is no "office" to talk to so I guess my business will go to Uber or someone that actually delivers on what they promise.
