Delli Santi's Pizzeria II

While the pizza here is the best in the area... that is not saying much. Delli Santi's only gets 2 stars for the following reasons:
- Sicilian Pie is expensive when the final price is 16$+. I usually pay around 13$ for mine in my area.
- Takes them forever to cook the pizza... about 25 minutes and we were getting antsy as we wanted to catch a movie at Willowbrook. The reason I suspect is that the 'cook' kept checking the pizza every 2 minutes opening up the oven... let it cook! You should know how long your oven takes exactly to make a pizza by now.
- When we got the pizza, not only was there no grated Parmesan dispensers, but the pizza didnt even fill the entire box! Unacceptable.. it was like a 9 slice Sicilian compared to the usual 16 or 12 slice.

Do yourself a favor, just dont get pizza from Fairfield.

I ordered 20 pies for a corporate party and was really unhappy with the service.

1. Pies were to come at 7:20 and instead they came at 6:50. When I told the delivery guy he said "Better early than late." An apology would have been better. None of my guests were to arrive until 7pm so they were going to get cold pizza. Fun.

2. The deliery guy didn't bring a receipt but said he'd be back with one. He NEVER came back and when I got back to the office, nearly 3 hours later, there was a VM saying they would have explain the receipt issue and I should call them back. Please note I gave them my cell number, not my work number. They must have read it off their caller ID. If I'm going to be sitting at an off-site event does it make sense to call my office?

3. The next day I called and they told me I could come pick up the receipt. Since I'm not in the area, nor in the county I asked if it could be mailed. The woman on the phone seemed a little puzzled by this idea but took down my address. Of course, nearly 2 weeks later I still have not gotten the receipt.

Bottom line - If you are ordering a bunch of pies for a corporate event think twice about it.
