Deeper Roots Coffee

Coffee is terrific. I most often order an espresso, which they delightfully serve with a sparkling water on the side. Sometimes I'll indulge in the signature Honey Bear (w/ skim milk). The scones are terrific.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

My only complaint is the space. Location in Oakley is great, but the seating in the store is very limited.

My church also has a standing order for coffee. Delivery of beans is always prompt and orders are correct. I prefer the South American single origin for drip coffee.

Visited on a Saturday morning before a workout and it was very busy!

I opted for just a hot coffee with almond milk and received it very quickly which was great considering the large crowd. It was fresh, and did not have any burnt taste which I appreciated as sometimes at cafes with drip I have found the coffee to be burnt!

I was not able to have any pastries due to food allergies, but my friend opted to have a croissant and it looked super flaky and fresh! She also had a cappuccino which looked delicious.

This was my first time here, but I will definitely be back to sample more drinks from the menu

I have always enjoyed Deeper Roots coffee. Since giving up drinking coffee, I hadn't been in in quite some time, but on a chilly day, I was walking through Oakley and needed a warm drink. I stopped into Deeper Roots and was excited to see that they had severalll non-coffee options and some hot tea lattes. I ordered a London Fog. The barista was excited to make it for me since they had just gotten in a new concentrate. She recommended I sweeten it with honey. Sadly this made the drink far sweeter than any London Fog I have ever had, so it took away from the experience a bit, but it was still tasty. I also appreciated the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff. I will definitely be back for a non-doff drink sometime! I will just know to politely decline the honey in my London Fog ;)

Cute smaller coffee shop in Oakley. I really liked the unique coffee menu with the tasty seasonal drinks. The love potion mocha put me under a spell for sure. I would return.

Definitely a smaller little coffeeshop but I was able to find seating!! I appreciate that they have a parking lot next door which makes it easy to get to! I will say I was not super impressed with my chai latte that I got sadly, I think the half cinnamon topping just was not my favorite but I will have to come again and try something else since I appreciated that because of the size it wasn't too busy or loud which is great for reading!

Great people behind the counter and in the crowd. Ordered a cinnamon roll, crumb cake, and a couple of honey bear lattes. Good, better and best in that order. Everyone was on their game and they were friendly to boot. Definitely will make this a more regular stop. The honey bear latte is a winner, no doubt about it. It's on the good list.

Deeper roots is definitely a cool little coffee shop to check out. The service was great and the atmosphere has good vibes, it just doesn't have tons of sitting space and seems to be more of a pop in for your coffee and pop out type of spot.

I ordered an iced honeybee latte and it was delicious! I would absolutely pop back in on one of my on-the-go days.

Went to get my usual smooth, delicious decaf beans from here. Much to my excitement, I found low caffeine beans for that tiny kick I need without feeling shaky. On my way out, I ordered the Holy Moly; espresso with a lovely, low key layering of chocolate, cinnamon and cayenne. Even more smile-inducing, the pretty foam artwork on top. Oh happy day!

Just not a fan of there coffee. I felt the coffee is a little to bitter for my liking and also left an off taste in my mouth. They don't really have an array of specialty drinks.
The inside is very narrow and won't accommodate a group. There service was decent.

I've been here a few times to meet up with friends. It's loud and the seating options are limited. The coffee is good, though I really wish they had some additional sweetener options. The parking is also convenient- which is a big plus!
