I was at the school recently for an indoor "Winter Winds" band ensemble competition. I realize it's a little strange to be rating a high school on Yelp, but I simply wanted to point out how impressed I was with the cleanliness of the school. This was obviously not a new school, but you wouldn't know it from the looks of the interior. Every paint job was top-notch, and it seems as though I could have eaten off the gym floor (although I highly advise against it). So, kudos to the maintenance/custodial staff at Decatur Central. I wish my high school back in the 80's looked half this good.
