      I would NOT recommend DeSoto Cab EVER! I have tried to use their services twice. Both times I needed transportation to the airport. I called several days before my flight to book a cab. They took my information, etc. And both times the taxi never shows up, and when I call to check on the status they never have record of my call.
      I won't be fooled a third time. Find someone else for reliable taxi services. DeSoto is NOT a reliable company.

      I would NEVER recommend this cab company to anyone I remotely cared about. The owner is completely unprofessional and WILL rip you off. There are terrible reviews for a reason. The owner even told us "Leave us a bad review, we don't care about the reviews." That is an understatement. They clearly don't care about any of their customers or providing good customer service.

      We needed a few cars for our wedding day and they told us to call back the morning of, since they couldn't confirm how many cars they could give us. They told us it could either be a sedan or a van (which would fit 5 people) and they would know for sure that morning. We were okay with that.

      When we called back the on the day of our wedding, he told us a both sedans and vans could only fit 4 people due to some California law (HA! Why did you tell us 5 initially then?). We had to check with our group, and when we called back a second time, he changed the rules again and said sedans can only fit 3 people. What an absolute joke. We pushed back because he was clearly making things up as he went, and he berated us, told us to find another taxi company, and hung up on us.

      I highly highly recommend going with Tri-Valley Airport Services instead. Not only are they more affordable, but they are very polite and truly care about you.

      I reserved 4 taxi vehicles a few days before my wedding event. Kimberly was respectful and helped with my request. There was a chance that my request could turn into 3 vehicles, since they have minivans that can seat more passengers. I was told to call back the morning of my event, so they can confirm their fleet of vehicles and finalize my reservation - everything seemed good.

      On the morning of my wedding, I called and spoke to a guy with HORRIBLE customer service. He said they had minivans, but I still had to pay for 4 vehicles, even though I only needed 3 now. He made up rules that there was a maximum allowed in each vehicle. First it was 4 passengers allowed, then the rule changed to 3 passengers allowed (because the driver counted). He was trying his hardest to make me pay for the fourth vehicle. We were already willing to pay a premium (aka we were being ripped off) of $100/vehicle for only a 15-min drive and he was STILL shady AF. Things got worse as the guy started yelling at me over the phone. I asked to talk to his boss, which he claimed to be. If he really was the boss, I can see why this company has a bad rating and bad reviews.

      The "boss" really knows how to run a company. At the end of his yelling, he told me to write them a bad review because he does not care and to also look for another taxi company. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.

      S/O to Tri Valley Airport Service - Nathan was calm and respectful over the phone. Not only did he come through on our very last minute request, he also charged less money!

      Would never use this company again! Made an arrangement for airport pick up, confirmed the day before, was assured everything is in order, and at the time of the arrival no show up!!!
      With multiple phone calls I was told that taxi might come in an hour. Such a horrible and unprofessional service cost me a lot of stress and tons of money...had to hire SFO taxi and basically pay the double fee.
      Please be aware of this company!

      Great customer service. My questions were answered quickly and politely on the phone. Their van is big enough for 6 passengers and their luggage.

      I can always count on De Soto Cab! I've been riding with De Soto for years. I found them to be the most reliable and they even helped out when a Lyft ride didn't show and I needed to get to the airport that same morning. I use them for business and personal and always for local rides to the airport because I know they'll get there (and usually will be waiting outside early).

      I learned that they also regularly drive kids to school bringing some great help for families with long commutes.

      Just had an interaction with driver in cab 52 that was utterly appalling. He was dropping off an elderly woman and instead of pulling into one of the MANY parking places available at the front of the store, he chose to then stop in the middle of the aisle, holding up five other vehicles as he filled out paperwork and argued with me.

      I then called to let the owner know how their employee acts and that was as useless as arguing with the cab guy himself.

      A cab company that can't follow simple traffic laws is one I wouldn't want anything to do with. Horrible customer service. Accusatory that I was wrong. You won't ever find me in a cab. Uber for the win.

      I have ridden with this company before and had a good experience. This is the first time I did not have a good experience. I did write to the company while I was traveling to complain about their driver. They did apologize to me. During this pandemic I was concerned about traveling in a taxi. I had called the company to be sure their drivers wore masks and would open the window. I was assured that they follow protocol. When I was picked up the driver was not wearing a mask. I asked him about this and he replied that he didn't have one. Fortunately I had a new unused with me that I requested the driver to wear. Although he put the mask on he refused to wear it properly. Also he would not roll a window down partially. I still took the ride, but I have feared the possibility of contact with the coronavirus. I'm not sure I want to use this company again.

      So my review was taken down because apparently it was flagged for not enough detail. Probably by the owners trying to clean up their reviews. Don't use this cab company they over charge you for everything. Trips For the airport are wayyyy more. The drivers and especially the managers are rude and not accommodating. Why is there two Yelp pages for the same business?

      Easy to make reservation online, and they confirmed promptly. Pick up was on time, got to the airport at the right time. His driving and interactions were professional. Drop off was right outside appropriate airport door. He helped with my bag, and was very polite and sensitive to my disability.
      Booked them for the return trip two weeks later, and again everything was great. The fees seem competitive but would be nice if it could be lower, especially for repeat customers.
      Using them again in a couple of weeks and expect the best....DeSoto!
