Our first visit for the Friday night fish fry was really good. We came at 5:30 and had to wait an hour to be seated. The rush was over at 6:30. We really liked the breading on the fish.

Good pace of play, even when busy. Rough fairways, short rough and "turtle" greens. Not my cup of tea,!

The first time I went here for their fish fry there was almost no wait at 5:20pm and I thought the fish was excellent. We were rather rudely told we had to leave when we had barely finished eating however and there were multiple empty tables at this point. The second time we went it was later in Lent but at 5pm we were told there was an hour wait and it ended up being over an hour and a half. I'm pretty sure it would have taken longer had we not bugged them a couple times. The two people who got there at the same time as us (there were two of us this time) got seated a half an hour before us (though it took them a half an hour to get their fish). Also that whole thing with asking people if they mind sitting with other people but not making them wait if they say no thing is kind of obnoxious. When we were seated the hostess said "three people" which for some reason she had also asked when we first got there (and we said "no, two") and she also said the wrong name so that may have been part of the problem with seating us. The table was set up for three people as well. Also, even though it was wayyyyyy busier this time I didn't see them kicking anybody out early and plenty of tables were half standing up to leave for literally a half an hour. Also, they seemed to let plenty of regulars waltz in and get seated right away. So suffice it to say the fish breading is great (assuming you like hashbrowns or whatever it is they use) but you'd better be prepared to wait and get subpar service.
