We stayed here last minute for a trip to Logan in August 2015.
Pros:
-room was very large
-room was clean
-wi-fi worked relatively consistently
-they let us check in 3 hours ahead of check-in time when we showed up and asked (nice bonus)
-we could get a room (Cache County Fair + Rodeo Days made them scarce)
-staff was friendly and helpful
Cons:
-bed was lumpy
-chair/couch in room both sat very low
-had to re-key the room key upon arrival (annoying)
-room had strange features, like two sinks (good) and scary unfinished utility closet that could only be locked from the inside (bad)
-no lotion in the default toiletries
We didn't try the pool or the breakfast. This was basically what I expected it to be and I would stay here again although I would probably try to find a cheaper hotel first with excellent bed reviews.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joan C.Cottonwood Heights, UT02Mar 30, 2024
Like many of the other reviewers, this place has its pros and cons for the money.
Pros: it is "relatively" clean, fresh linens, and a nice bed, which are primary goals for me as a traveler. Has a microwave and a fridge and the rooms are quite large. Very convenient to restaurants and other amenities/shopping.
Some of the cons: poor Wi-Fi, cloth seating chairs need to be steam cleaned, draperies need to be steam cleaned, lampshades need to be replaced. TV remote is nasty and has tape holding the battery compartment in place. Looks to have a new wall-mounted AC unit, but it is non-functional and the old AC unit is not very effective. Overall this place could use a reno.
Breakfast is just so-so and the amenities such as the soap and shampoo and conditioner are also minimal and so-so.
Front desk help, while pleasant enough, don't seem engaged, and are just "hanging out" instead of maybe tidying up while they're not busy.
Got this room on a holiday weekend looking for a low rate, and the rates were much higher than they should be while having very little occupancy.
While there is no place in this beautiful town of Logan that is "undesirable", I would say this is located in a little bit less than desirable area. I definitely have my doors locked, and my concealed carry on standby.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy B.Stafford, VA08Feb 23, 2024
Worst customer service ever!!! The hotel charged the full amount for our stay plus the $100 deposit which was fine.
Then I looked at my bank accounts there were 2 more additional charges that should not have been charged.
When I asked the lady at the desk what the charges were she said they charge by the night which would have been fine but they already charged for the entire stay!!!! She told me she wouldn't do anything about the extra charges.
Watch your money!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - KayLin H.Sandy, UT111113302May 9, 2023
This was a last minute decision to stay overnight a couple hours away from home. At first it was really different to be in a 70's something style "motel" but inside the room was very nice and clean, they beds and pillow were very comfortable and there were a couple different options for the type is pillows. The staff at the registration office were very good very kind and helpful as we checked in as well as a couple calls to the front desk and most of all responsive and helpful when we need to add a day and a little bit late checkout

The breakfast was amazing for an $80 room. Eggs, sausage waffles etc. The staff was so friendly and cheery. The checking in is easy. The rooms are older but as with most Wyndham hotels the things that matter are great. Crisp white linens; white ample towels; working fridge and microwave. Great tv with Direct tv. A Maytag laundromat on site costing g only 1.50 per load with dryers to match. All the older ammenities that made travel easier from yesteryear. Laundry soap at the front desk. Pet area with grass. Very secured complex; in a lovely location on main. Close to at least ten eateries for dinner. Oh and the shower head had great water pressure and lots of steamy hot water. Will visit again on our way back through!

Steer clear unless you want a very dirty room. This place is filthy, carpets are so dirty. Went to use to the phone to call the front desk because there was no toilet paper in our room when we checked in but it was so sticky. We didn't want to touch anything. They're using dirty Smiths shopping carts to move sheets from one room to the next. How this place has good reviews I don't know.

Zero stars if I could. Room was dirty, a/c didn't work. Got charged a smoking fee when we didn't smoke. Management is unprofessional.

So, I base my review on Room 203, Check-in/out and breakfast. Room 203 is a bit old and run down. The chairs are well sunken in and lumpy, the celling is low (so if you're tall buyer beware), the paint in the bathroom is pealing/bubbling and the Wi-Fi in that location does not work well. Both my daughter had to log onto the system (and relog onto the system) multiple times a day and when we were able to get on it was extremely slow. That is the low down, now for the upsides. The beds were comfortable, there were a lot of TV channels and it was very roomy.
The breakfast was a carbohydrates dream - Cereal, Waffles and all sorts of bread like products. A little yogurt, and a few pieces of fruit break up the dream.
Check-in/out was speedy and friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael D.Pontotoc, MS0258297Dec 25, 2017
My room was not far from the main office. Not sure when it was last utilized but there was a nice layer of dust on everything. Other than that, the room appeared clean. Nothing on the floors and the beds were nicely made.
The room was extremely dated and upon inspecting the bathroom, I found the bathroom door could not open all the way. The door would hit the toilet! There was no way to fully open the bathroom door. I noticed the shower head flange was not against the wall and laying on the shower head. There was also a nice gap between the tub spout and the tub. Water could easily get into that gab and cause water damage. The clear, plastic shower curtain had several holes in it. And finally, there were several black hairs in the bottom of the tub.
The room was equipped with a sink and mirror outside of the bathroom. There were a small fridge and microwave in the room as well. Both seemed clean and worked as they should. The flat screen television had several cable channels so there was no lack of anything to watch. There were dresser drawers for clothes but I live out of my suitcase.
You could hear folks walk up and down the sidewalk outside my door but I never heard those staying next to, or above me. The heater ran most of the time which helped with any exterior noise. The curtains were thick enough for privacy and to keep any outside light from coming in. The parking lot was well lit and appeared safe.
Staff were very nice and what they did get right was the breakfast. Well prepared and a nice (typical) selection of breakfast items that were complimentary. The main lobby had coffee available most, if not all of the time. The lobby appeared new or recently renovated, at least in comparison to my room. The kitchen and small breakfast area are located in this area as well. There was ample seating and I never had issues finding a place to sit. There were also two large TV's to enjoy while eating breakfast.
It worked for a cheap place to land but my room lacked regular maintenance and the person who did the drywall work in the room needs to find another profession. I'm still on the hunt for a reasonably priced hotel in Logan. I have no intentions of returning to this hotel. Maybe some of the other wings have newer or updated rooms but mine, not so much. I was surprised, especially after seeing others reviews of this Days Inn.
It's in walking distance of several restaurants and shopping areas. That made it convenient for this trip. They do have plenty of private parking and the parking lot was well cared for (snow removal, etc). Not the worst I've ever stayed in but again, I'll be looking elsewhere on my next trip.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard E.Murrieta, CA296077Jun 30, 2021
5 Stars considering what you get for the price. Renee the front desk manager was polite, professional, and exceptionally helpful. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was a great bonus. I will definitely be looking out for more Days Inns in the future.
