Absolutely the best! My parents have been coming to Mark now for most of my life. So when the time came for me to propose to my now fiancée (she said yes! definitely because of the ring) Mark Schneider was the first and only jeweler I considered.

I'll be honest and say I was a little nervous about the occasion having never looked for rings before, but the super knowledgeable and friendly staff (Mark included) put all that to rest within seconds of entering the store.

That's no exaggeration. Within one minute of arrival, I was sitting in a comfy chair with a complementary craft beer. It was absolutely from start to finish an enjoyable experience.. Really made everything feel even more special and exciting. Truly.

Oh yeah and the ring! His style and craftsmanship are extremely cool and elegant. We got engaged on Lake Como and with everything there was to see on our trip she couldn't stop checking out the ring.

I couldn't recommend Mark Schneider enough. Superior people, prices, products and experience vs other competitors.

My husband and I embarked on an exhaustive search for the perfect setting for my 3-carat diamond. We scoured Robbins Brothers, The Jewelry Exchange, Nathan Alan, among others, but nothing quite captured our hearts until we discovered Mark Schneider. Assisting me on this memorable journey was Nas, the knowledgeable jewelry expert. Upon arrival, Nas graciously guided me through the store, creating an atmosphere of utmost comfort. Describing my vision to her, she remarkably understood my desires - a halo ring with a round stone. Nas thoughtfully presented several ring options and then, in a moment of excitement, unveiled "the one!" A design conceptualized by Mark for a previous client, it embodied everything I had envisioned.

The subsequent step involved collaborating with Breseida, who intricately sketched the envisioned ring setting. After assessing my wedding band, she ingeniously incorporated its design into the new setting. Nas then proposed adding my children's birthstones and a delicate gold heart representing my husband - her suggestions resonated deeply. Amidst this process, Nas shared an exceptional sapphire ring, an original Mark creation adorned with exquisite floral engraving. Enthralled by this concept, I eagerly embraced the idea of incorporating it into my design.

Everything is handled in-house except for the engraving, and within this realm, Michael invested extensive time and meticulous attention into crafting my ring. He stands as a cornerstone, intricately woven into the fabric of Mark Schneider's operations. My heartfelt appreciation extends to him for his significant contributions!

Their dedication to fulfilling my wishes was unwavering. The outcome was a flawless, one-of-a-kind custom piece - the epitome of my desires. The entire journey spanned around a month and a half, a whirlwind of anticipation. The day arrived when a I received a text message saying my ring was ready. Joined by my husband, he knelt down and proposed once more. This magical experience, made possible by the craftsmanship of Mark Schneider and the expertise of Nas, fills me with gratitude and appreciation. For anyone contemplating designing their own ring, this is the ultimate destination - a choice you won't regret!

I'm happy to have asked for the printout of our purchases over the last 11 years.
After this last exchange of ideas, desires, drawing, specifics, deposit of my materials I cannot come away impressed nor satisfied. $6K for a ring when I supply more than enough materials. When I told my husband to guess how much they wanted it took 6 guesses and he still didn't get that high.

My husband purchased just under $14k over 11 years, birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas.
Several of those pieces have needed to be extended or resized. Necklace length 15"? thats a choker. Bracelet 7 1/2" rope, not unless your 20. Dome earrings that have a ding after replacing since one of the posts was denting the hollow underside.

Withdrew ALL my pieces because impractically high pricing. Just did a few repairs. Tooo rich for our wallet. They wouldn't look at my trade ins of estate pieces even for gold weight or stones, offered me $200. Pieces from a Pasadena renowned jeweler.

The staff has certainly changed hands since Dave handed it over to Mark.

What can I say about this team? They were fantastic: attentive, excellent listeners who customized our rings in a way that exceeded our vision. In particular, Allison was generous with her time and careful to walk us through the process. She educated us about diamonds, helped us modify our design, and gave us rings that, quite literally, made me cry. I cannot recommend this team more: they are family and have our loyal business for life!

Lady that helped wasn't very helpful, I brought in family jewelry that I was turning into a wedding band for my wife and she couldn't be more rude. Made me feel bad about what I was doing and was asked to buy only their jewelry and that they wouldn't even help me with the existing metals and diamonds that meant so much to me and my family. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you want a bad experience buying a loved one a custom piece. Just stay away all together is what I say to friends and family.

When it comes to customer service this establishment has it down!!! I came in looking to get a new setting for my wedding ring (previous one had issues with loose diamonds) and Nas was on it from the first time I called to make an appointment! She helped me out the same day, went over many styles and we found the ring of my dreams!!! Nas sat me down with the owner Mark and we talked design, how to make it custom to my specific wants and needs! And all at an affordable and fair price for a beautiful ring! I highly recommend Mark Schneider Fine Jewelry and will be using their services in the future! Thank you Nas for all you have done for us and big thanks to Mark and his wonderful design team!!!

I had lost a little stone fall out of a ring that was passed down from my grandma. I felt so bad...luckly...Alison was there to help! She looked closely at the ring to triple check she was giving me the best advice for what needs to be updated. She even then took time to work with the bill to give me the range I had asked her to keep it in. Thank you so much! My grandmas ring will be worn every day again.

Before visiting Mark Schneider, I was not a jewelry person. Prior to coming here we had gone to Jared and Robbins Bros and they did nothing to change my mind.

But my boyfriend insisted we try one more place, Mark Schneider. He had recalled the commercials from our childhood, as we are both local to the store.

I'm very glad we came in. Liliane greeted us and was superbly friendly and kind to us. She sat us down, provided refreshments, and after a quick browse of their catalogue on their ipad, pulled out every single option we had on our list.

With her patience and expertise in advising us jewelry novices, we finally set our eyes upon a setting. But this is my engagement ring! Let's make it special! Without any scorn or judgement of choosing lab gemstones over natural mined stones, Liliane helped us decide on the center stone to make a special to us ring. Unlike the previous two stores mentioned, our budget was respected by Liliane, and she was accurate in the estimates on the cost of our ordered center stone and the timeline.

When we returned to approve of our center stone, unlike the big box stores who want you to blow your budget and get bigger and bigger stones, Liliane had assured us that we were choosing the right size for not just the ring but also me and my not flashy personality. So once that was chosen, we had to wait for the call for when it would all be made.

In less than a month, my engagement ring was ready. And it is absolutely gorgeous and fits me well. We were so happy with how the engagement ring turned out, we ordered a custom design wedding band for my boyfriend as well. We can't wait to see how both bands turn out, but we can rest assured that the team at Mark Schneider will deliver beautiful pieces.

I just got engaged and after seeing this ring on Pinterest almost 10 years ago, 10 years later it remains the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. It's beautifully made, unique, and I get comments on it wherever I go. I love this designer, his rings are extraordinary and stunning.

My husband (and baby daughter!) and I all really enjoyed the entire Mark Schneider experience and would *highly* recommend them to anyone looking not only for a special piece of jewelry, but also for amazing, high end customer service.

My husband and I just had our tenth anniversary and decided to upgrade/add a ring that commemorates the difficult journey we made from struggling students to a place of blessing (blessings that include our three month old daughter). I had actually discovered Mark's work in a magazine at Starbucks before I even met my husband, and was immediately drawn to his floral engagement pieces. They were such a work of art! I'm actually not a "jewelry person" and generally am a simple person, but I do really appreciate art, craftsmanship, design (I work with engineers), and I love nature, so they really caught my eye. I would sometimes go to their website and browse and dream...

Fast forward to the present... When my husband mentioned getting an anniversary ring, we immediately knew the piece that was right for us...Mystic is reminiscent of the simpler floral design my husband chose ten years ago, and feels like it represents the growth we've experienced in our decade journey together. The laser etched engraving that says "love you forever" in Mark's secret heart is a sweet touch (and super cool from an engineering/design perspective!!)

One aspect that is amazing about visiting the actual studio is that they can customize the ring however you want. We kept most of the design as-is, but because I am more simple and because we just had a baby, we asked them to lower the head so that the center stone didn't stand out so prominently. They easily took care of this, and could have done more had we asked. We got to peruse their sketch book, which showed how other customers had either modified one of Mark's original designs or designed an idea themselves that Mark's team made a reality.

The sketchbook was a highlight for me, because I got to see the artists' handiwork... Which is part of the fun experience of visiting their studio. We also got a tour of the lab where they make the jewelry, which was awesome for someone like me who likes to see how things are made, and the front studio was like visiting a museum where we got to see Mark's award-winning pieces!

The customer service was outstanding. We haven't found a sitter for the baby yet so we had to bring her with us. I was so nervous they would look at us with distain for bringing a baby to a fancy jewelry store, but instead they were excited to see her and several of the "grandmas" took turns pushing her around in the stroller--even Mark himself took a turn! I tried to keep my cool, but after so many years of admiring his work, I felt like I was meeting a celebrity hero of mine... And here he was, pushing my baby around his shop! Instead of feeling like country bumpkins, we felt like royalty and were treated with genuine kindness and service. Instead of feeling out of place in a snooty store, we felt like guests where everyone was very down-to-Earth. Nas helped us the most and she felt like a friend by the time we were done. Steve had great suggestions as well, such as going with a moissanite stone instead of diamond to better fit our budget and purpose.

We all enjoyed the entire experience so much--my husband told me after that it was the most fun he ever had buying jewelry. It's because you're not just being sold a piece of jewelry... You get to learn about the creation process, meet the designers, see other pieces of art, AND come away with a beautiful, meaningful product.
