I was in Men's Warehouse initially trying on a suit. It was Thursday and I needed the suit by Sunday. The salesperson talked to his manager and came back saying they could have it ready but wouldn't be able to adjust the sleeves. So basically I would look silly. I remembered walking into Dante Zeller a month ago and the salesperson Carlos there was helpful, knowledgeable and gave me his card. So I called him while being fitted at his competitor and told him what I needed. He said he had what I was looking for and could have it by Saturday.

So I made an appointment for 4pm. He found me a great suit. I was fitted in an hour and picked it up the next day. The suit fit great!!

I would Call, make an appointment because it may be busy, but save some suits for me because I need a few more.

1 star is a gift. Just awful. Terrible quality tuxedos and even worse shoes. Worst was the fitting. If you're going for a the cowboy pimp look, look no further than this place. Very rude woman at the desk and answering the phones. They bang you out for everything! When you buy a tux, it should be fitted to you perfectly. Better options at kohls than this dump. I went in to pick up my tux and the whole store smelled like a halal stand. I smelled like lamb over rice at my friends wedding.

This location is absolutely terrible. First off, the staff isn't the friendliest, especially the woman who deals with the phone calls. She had a terrible attitude every conversation I had with her.
I needed to buy a tux for the wedding I was in. The first time I went in I was measured. When the tux came in I had to go back in to try it on, and was measured again. The tux seemed to have been made for a 7 foot tall man. What was the point of being measured the first time if I had to alter the gigantic tux when it came in? Alterations were not included so I had to pay for the pants to be hemmed. About a week later I picked up the tux.
A WEEK before the wedding I was talking to another groomsman about the tux. Turns out I was given the wrong tuxedo! I called up the store to inform them of the mix up and the ever so charming woman puts me on hold to find out what to do. When she gets back on the phone she tells me to come in the next day to order the correct tux. When I asked if everything was going to be evenly exchanged, she got nasty and said she has no way of knowing that and puts a man on the phone who told me it would be evenly exchanged.
When I arrive the next day the guy I had the appointment with apparently stepped out when he wasn't supposed to. The woman was flipping out about that and turns to the older gentleman that works there and says "this is what happens when you decide to come in an hour before we close". I then said something because if it was up to me I would never step foot in that store again but THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG TUXEDO. The older man informed me that the tux I had was the original tux but they could no longer get it so they told the groom he needed to change it. You would think they would have records and inform the groom that one of his groomsmen has the wrong tux already.
I then have to come in AGAIN to get measured in the tux but this one was not only made for a 7 foot man but a 7 foot, heavy set man. I did not have to pay for the hemming for this tux because I paid for the other tux to be hemmed but I did have to pay for it to be taken in. Mind you, the wedding is the following weekend and they did not once apologize for their mess up. You would think that a real business that has some sort of etiquette would apologize and maybe try to work out something, like not have to pay for the alterations.
I finally pick up the tuxedo 3 days before the wedding. This is a huge inconvenience because I am located on the south shore of Staten Island and could only go to this location because the tuxedo was being purchased and not rented. So that is a total of 6 trips into Brooklyn for this tux.
Not that the first tuxedo was any better but this new tux was so cheap it was not worth the money at all. I "had to buy" all the accessories including the cuff links. Unfortunately the cuff links were useless because they did not give me a tuxedo shirt with any cuff link holes. The shoes are so cheap and look like plastic. I would love to resell it but when you look up the tux online it is worthless.
Do not buy or rent your tux from this location. It was a miserable experience with an even more miserable staff, especially that woman!

Called to see if i can get measured for a friends wedding since they are a "Sarno and Sons" chain.. Have to make a appointment to get your measurements taken okay cool. Guy answered asked if i can come down today since they close 5 hours from now, the worst attitude like it was a inconvenience. i wonder how busy a monday is that they cant take 5 min to measure someone.

Fit was amazing. Carlos and his staff are professionals and they really know how to make the process as seamless as possible. Had the suit fitted with in-between size, which is not very common with those online suit rental companies. The fit was near perfect for my wedding and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was hemmed perfect. My 3 year old son had his suit also fitted perfectly. Will certainly be coming back to support this local gem to get more tailored fits for work when offices resume. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Scammers and schemers. Renter/buyer beware. They tell you one price and charge another, lying about what you'll pay. After fittings and hours of visits with groomsmen, they totally change up the price on what the deal was. Initially, I was considering renting. They convinced me to buy saying it could only be tailored to my body type if I purchased the suit, and pointing to a $299.00 deal that said it included everything from shoes, to cufflinks, buttons, and vests etc. They said the deal was applicable to other suits but that they might be a little more money. The suit I wanted he said would be $525 with that deal. I asked 3 times to verify if that was what the deal would be, and he also said the $250 off the rental I would be getting after bringing in my bridal party would be applied to that price, so money would be taken off. I expected to pay $275. After spending hours bringing my groomsmen come in, them paying, ad getting my measurements taken, it came time to settle up for my suit. At this point, Adam started scanning every individual item that was supposedly included in the deal. So what happened to the flat rate price promised to me? Adam came up with a price of $1,298.00 which blew my mind at this point. He proceeded to tell me that the price he initially told me was a miscommunication. I want to make this clear, there was no miscommunication because in the process, I asked Adam at least three times if this was the price, pointing to the advertisement and if everything was included. He confirmed it three times, so this can't be a miscommunication. It was shady all around. At this point, it was 2 weeks before my wedding, and my groomsmen had already come in to be measured and paid, so my back was against the wall. The only reason I proceeded is because I did not have the time to go anywhere else and they travelled. They also never took off the $250 rental price for bringing in the bridal party because they said they already applied it, yet the price was almost 1,300? But they said it was all included in $525 at the most, and then minus the $250 which was expected? I was furious but they had me in a bind because I had spent 2 days there etc. Now, I was hoping to get a great tuxedo. It wasn't ugly by any means, but the fitting was horrible. The rental cufflinks broke as I was trying them on, and the new ones broke on my wedding day. I spent a lot of money and they still could not get me pants that fit. They said they'd tailor them to look good on me but they looked horrible and baggy and there was nothing I could do as it was too late. They gave me a wrinkled shirt too. I spent top dollar and did not even get a suit that fit good. I was dissatisfied on every level. DO NOT COME HERE AND BUY A SUIT, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND RIP YOU OFF.

Great tuxedo. Excellent service. About $200 and well worth it. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and polite. Will use again.

This place sucks real bad I went two months in advance for a fitting for a tux and when it came a week before the wedding my jacket was tight and the pants were booty huggers. Thank god the second time around everything was perfect. The guy that runs that store very arrogant and condescending. My man needs to humble himself. I make six figures and I don't act like that so tux man take a fitting on how to treat people with respect and dignity because looking good in a polyester suit don't cut it lol

They do last minute suits. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they go above and beyond. Highly recommend the manager Carlos.
