We purchased a new HVAC system in July 2020. We were told by the representative that we would receive a $450 rebate, which ultimately made our decision to go with this company. Their prices were about the same as others, but the rebate made it a little bit of a better deal. After speaking with the company in April 2021, we were told that there was no rebate after ONCOR ran out of funds. I continued to get the same excuse and no help on how to receive the rebate we were promised when we were sold the unit. Poor customer service and we were lied to about the overall price and rebate.

We've used Daniels for years. They proved their worth many times over when we had a big job go wrong and they were the only game in town that had the experience to get the problem fixed satisfactorily. Super nice, very responsive. Not the cheapest but definitely the best. Aaron Spears comes and does our annual system checks and he couldn't be nicer or more thorough. Customer for life.

Beware of this contractor!!!
Daniels AC did a great job installing 2 new units in our house in 2013. We've had them come back every year for maintenance. This year the technician (KD) advised we needed a damper in the system to augment airflow to one of the bedrooms, a new drip pan, and a new compressor for one of the units. Total cost is well over $1800. We were suspicious and called another contractor. Good thing we did because it turned out we didn't need any of those things. Just need to have the drain line cleaned out.
I'd like to think this is a simple misdiagnosis but to suggest a new drip pan ($335) and damper and new compressor on a 5 yr old Trane ($1200 labor) is a not a simple mistake. He also left the outside water hose running all night and never closed the ladder door to the attic.

Daniels Air is very sorry that we where not able to meet your expectations. We spoke with the Service Technician that came out, who is one of our best Technicians, which we have received numerous great reviews on him. When he arrived, the outdoor unit was running 200 plus psi on the suction side and 280 something on the head. There was no temperature split across the return and supply air. The drain line was clogged, and the pan was rusted. The Service Technician washed the coils out when he got there and admitted that he possibly could have left the hose on by accident. We are very sorry about that, but accidents sometimes happen. The Technician gave quotes to put dampers into the system to push more air into the back bedrooms as an option. Quotes were given to repair the drain line and replace the pan on the system that was clogged. Quotes were also given on what the technician was seeing at the time as a bad compressor. The technician needed approval from the landlord to proceed on any of the quotes who was not available at the time. Daniels understands your frustration if the unit started working again, but the Technician was giving quotes to be approved based on what he was looking at the time and by what was being described to him as far as the unit not cooling. We are glad you were able to resolve your issues and that your unit is cooling again. Please know we will only a phone call away if you ever decide to give us another try.

I would recommend this company to anyone getting a AC system or just for a checkup on your system. We bought a AC/Heating system for our house about 6 years ago and it was the best decision we've made! They had the best prices (and we compared) & they have quality people working! When we have a problem they are out that day to help. Very impressed with the company. They do not try and gouge you!

Our A/C went out on us last Thursday. Tech came out, diagnosed the problem and said he needed to order the part. The part did not arrive until Monday (which is poor considering I can overnight a smoked brisket to my dad from Texas to Oregon for Father's Day). The tech came on Monday, installed the part, in the process he put a hole in the freon line so all of the freon leaked out. He soldered the line and dripped solder into my unit causing further damage, he put freon in (not the correct amount) then he jury rigged a replacement part that the technician from another Trane Dealer said was the wrong thing to do. So thanks to the incompetents at Daniels, I am still without air conditioning during 90 to 100 degree weather. I would not recommend them at all. I will post a picture of the jury rigged part that was connected, then stuck back into the box and wrapped with electrical tape.

Their response was great with same day service. The service tech did a nice job diagnosing the issue with my ac unit. The service tech was also very nice and explained everything.
The quoted price to replace a simple thermostat was 3x-4x the DIY price. I replaced it myself in 15 minutes.

I just had a my entire hvac replaced! Daniels air got it done. The guys really knew what they were doing, got the old one out of my attic fast and had the new one running in a few hours.
