We bought a ham and cheese quiche that I have to say it was just got awful. We each had a pie shaped wedge, and threw the rest out! It was horrible. Not to mention that they were no heating instructions at all. Now I tried calling, said they were open till 230. This was last Friday and I left a message and no one called me back. Not only that the store looks like a mess, there were repairs that needed to be done around the baseboards and the ceiling, no prices on the items for sale! I guess we're all supposed to just guess. And the young people waiting on guests could've cared less. They heard me say several times I wonder what does prices I even had to go back to it and I would say it again still nothing!
No, I won't be stopping back here againHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marie A.Northbrook, IL08Aug 9, 2023
Cannoli had no flavor. Big disappointment.
Also I couldn't believe the small boxes of cookies near the register were around $27.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 30, 2023
Ugh....we've had a bit of trouble lately finding great places to eat. Good thing my list of places to try is really long! We came to Danielle's Deli for lunch and to see what they have to offer. The first problem is that they were out of sub rolls and had to make our sandwiches using two hard rolls each. My husband had the Milano - he said it was fine but nothing special. I had the Phila-deli hot sub. This is supposed to have mozzarella, peppers, onions, and mushrooms on it. It had provolone instead and there were absolutely no onions or peppers and two of the tiniest mushrooms you've ever seen on it. The beef was dry - the sandwich needed a side of sauce to dip it in. It also wasn't seasoned. I rarely think anything needs salt and I was looking for a salt shaker/packet for this sandwich (no salt to be found anywhere). We also bought a bit of the pasta salad - flavorless. Do they not cook the noodles in salted water? That would have helped a bit. We still have a meatball and a couple sausages to try - my husband will be having those for lunches this week. The one standout was the plain brownie; THAT was fantastic and I would stop to get that again. We were hoping that Danielle's would be our go-to deli but we both agreed that it's worth the extra time to get to Glorioso's instead.

My family enjoys the fresh food available for carryout at Danielle's Deli in Brookfield on North Avenue. Every day showcases specialty hot dishes created to provide a delicious meal to enjoy at home. Many cold pasta and vegetable salads are also created everyday for purchase. Frozen products made on site are also available.
We shop at least once a week at Danielle's Deli, and have enjoyed every food and grocery purchase. Be patient if you shop at Danielle's Deli during the lunch hour. It's a popular place to have Italian sub sandwiches made to order. You sub will be prepared with meat and cheeses sliced as you wait. Highly recommended! I almost forgot the cannolis and Italian cookies, delicious! Danielle's Deli reminds me a little of the Italian meat market my great uncle owned through the 1950's in Boston. Cozy store with shelves stocked with valued products. Rosemary N.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Katie C.Wauwatosa, WI3097363Dec 19, 2022
Very cool little Italian grocery store but the service is disappointing. The cashier was eating a pixie stick which was spilling all over her sweatshirt when she was ringing us up. Manager was scolding her in front of customers. Waited 15+ mins for an order we had called in over 30 minutes before. Got our order wrong anyways. Would potentially come here for a grocery item, premade item, or frozen item but not a sandwich.

Stopped by this Deli/small Italian grocery store a few weeks back, got an amazing (made to order) beef sandwich & a few cannolis to take home. This place is definitely worth the trip, highly recommend!!

Family owned Italian deli feel that reminds me of some of the shops when I was a kid. Salads are always fresh and enticing. I buy olives here twice a week.
