BEWARE!! Aggressive, incompetent and bullies. "Janet" in Dr. Adler's billing office is incompetent and lies to protect herself. She billed the insurance company incorrectly multiple times and refused to admit her mistakes. Sadly your time and energy will be wasted by "Janet's" incompetence and inability to correct a mistake.
Instead she will threaten and intimidate to cover her ineptitude.

Dr. Adler seems like a fine doctor. He would do well to not employ people like "Janet" who are incapable of doing her job and who choose to lie and try to aggressively bully patients rather than use basic honesty in their interactions.

Where is the apology for your abhorrent lies and behavior? Threatening and lying to people who are sick with collection agencies - all because of your inability to do your job - how do you sleep?

Was recommended to me by my bf and I was super nervous to go to a gastro to discuss my symptoms.

Dr. Adler was great - Very to the point, explained everything perfectly - not too fast and not too slow. Took plenty of time to make sure I understood the "plan" he was putting me on before going on to extensive testing.
His plan to "cure" me has surely worked.

It was honestly the best dr. experience I have ever had in this city. His office and waiting area have a relaxing, nice hotel-like feeling to them. Never thought it would be such a pleasant experience.

Best Dr experience Ive had in this city. He took the time to listen to my concerns and talk to me about next steps.

He returned my calls and when I had to go for an endoscopy, he was very caring, knowledgble and straight to the point, answering all of my questions (even the stupid ones!)

      Highly recommended

Amazing doctor. I highly recommend him since he cured me and helped me be back to my normal lifestyle.
Everyone in the office is pleasant and matter sensitive! I got very lucky to find such a great gastroenterologist.

As good an experience as a colonoscopy can be. From initial conversation--yes this doctor returns calls and is friendly when he does--to the surgical center procedure, Dr. Adler was clear, reassuring, competent and thorough. I came away thinking the colonoscopy just wasn't so annoying to undertake, which is saying something. I also wish Dr. Adler could educate other doctors on how to really care for patients at a time when the medical business is too often about the business much more than the actual medical care.

NEVER NEVER NEVER see this doctor!! Would give zero stars if it were an option. Better off suffering in pain. He was incredibly rude to both my grandmother and me when she accompanied me for an appointment - to the point where I was scared even to ask any questions.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease this summer, I saw Adler a couple times last year before I was diagnosed when the symptoms started. Not only did he not diagnose me, he told me that my pain was muscular and to wait it out.

Haha went to a different GI doctor and said I have something else and whatever dr Adler diagnosed me with was completely wrong! That's what happens in a two minute examination and not letting patient talk. Don't go here unless you wanna stay sick and ripped off.

      Gastroenterology. He's good at it.

Writing anything else in this review would be TMI and disgusting.

In an area that can be sensitive to discuss, Dr. Adler has been tactful, attentive and kind. My husband and I both have been patients with him for several years and he's been nothing but proactive, considerate and informed.

Very insensitive and condescending. When I first described my symptoms to him and potential causes I had read about, he told me I had a "wild imagination." I still gave him a chance because of his background, but after a year of treatment and no positive results, he told me it was because I was not following up with his office enough. He continued to fill medication that was inappropriate for long-term use, and he was unable to relieve my symptoms. I am now with a doctor who is more professional and more effective.

Do not go to this doctor.
