Damark's Market, originally a house/storefront known as Damark's Deli, was established in 1949 in the hamlet of Springs, East Hampton by Joe and Mary Damark. The landmark business has been a popular local spot for more than 70 years until third generation owners Bruce and Michiko Damark demolished the old store in October of 2017 and began constructing a larger, more contemporary building in the same location. The "new and improved" Damark's Market reopened in December of 2018 with a modern, Greek Revival exterior and a light filled interior featuring an open, airy market space for customers to browse, shop and eat in. Damark's Market offers a veritable cornucopia of fresh meats and seafood, produce, prepared salads, sushi and stone hearth oven pizza. An 18 foot hot table holds an amazing selection of daily hot food specials alongside a vast offering of breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items. Damark's bakery offers fresh baked breads, pies, cakes, muffins and pastries, scoop and soft serve ice cream, and coffee and espresso featuring freshly roasted beans from Hampton Company Coffee. Bruce and Michiko are proud of their new space and invite you to come in and enjoy a delicious meal in their new market. The choices are endless and menus are posted online, so take a look and drop by soon....there's a little something for everyone! www.damarksmarket.com

super cute market!! the italian sandwich i had was phenomenal. My friend asked for sprouts in her sandwich and they gave her brussels sprouts which gave us a good laugh. Super reasonable prices for the area. Quick and easy service too!

Was happy to find this place but either they need to update their menu or retrain kitchen staff. Ordered a few bowls- Thai steak bowl, bulgogi bowl, tofu bowl , veggie bowl and a tuna melt panini.
Thai steak bowl- wasn't spicy just a flat steak with the sweet chili sauce barely applied . No roasted peanuts, basil pickled chilies sesame seeds, peanut ginger dressing or lime.
It was just a quick fried rice with bits of cilantro and a wedge of lemon. Nothing Thai about it.
Bulgogi bowl- flat steak no spice again no kimchi or dressing. It was just a bowl of rice with with the veggies described with no flavor.
Veggie bowl- chick peas were not "citrus braised" and there was no harissa.
Tofu bowl- we asked for chick peas to be added which the happily did. But the miso ginger dressing tated more like the ginger dressing from a Japanese restaurant. The tofu wasn't even cooked or heated. Just cut into chunks and thrown on top.
Tuna melt panini- seriously gross. They did it on a Latin style Torta not a ciabatta. The tuna had way too much dressing and when combined with the Russian dressing it was just a sloppy mess and the cheese were either thick slices or just too many layers of AMerican clicked cheddar that did nothing to save it.
Coleslaw- was coleslaw nothing fancy
Fries- ask for them to be cooked a bit extra and they will be crispier and hot.
Steak taco- meat was over cooked and rubbery and had zero hot sauce, the onions and cilantro were added as an after thought.
Mahi mahi tacos- fish grilled to a nice rubbery consistency they only used one tortilla per taco so it fell apart the minute you tried to pick it up.
Pretty much all the food lacked flavor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Norman H.Long Island, NY02Feb 1, 2024
John the butcher is the best in the Hamptons. The finest meats in town! Fresh fish and seafood, great holiday menus also!

Over priced, got the order wrong, turkey bacon looks microwaved. Asked for an egg white sandwich with cheddar turkey bacon on whole wheat bread. Some how ended up with a tortilla with microwaved turkey bacon American cheese and egg whites. Barely any egg white in the wrap, ended up taking out the bacon because it was gross. The coffee also tasted watered down. No one really enjoyed the food from here in the group.

Love it here! This is a Springs necessity and my family grabs lunch here at least once a week. We love the sandwich variety and the hot food bar (safe as the staff does the plating). Wait for sandwiches can be a bit long but I use that time to stock up on some basics I need for our pantry and fridge. We're always in need of year round lunch spots in East Hampton so I'm really happy to have Damark close by!

I just spent $16 on a fried flounder sandwich. What I got was a burnt Kaiser roll, with two dry pieces of fish and very little tartar sauce. It is so dry, and has no taste (other than burnt). I'm so disappointed. I will not be going back. This sandwich should have not left the kitchen like this. Everything they make, should be made with the same quality as if they were making if for themselves.

I've been a patron of Damark's Deli since 1984.
Locally family owned business for generations , with family members always active in Community events and Service.
This, their latest " incarnation " of what we affectionately once knew as "D;&"y Mary's Deli !" ! is another testament to the wisdom and wholesomeness of supporting local businesses!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gregory T.Los Angeles, CA240524Jul 18, 2019
Wildly overpriced, generally unhelpful, and bad attitudes amongst the staff. I got a slice of pizza for the extravagant price of $10, and it tasted like it should cost less than a dollar. The layout is cramped and kinda resembles a lousy gas station. I will not be coming back, and I recommend you avoid this place in favor of literally anywhere else.

Second review and I have to say I'm very impressed with how different and better the atmosphere is and the workers are enthusiastic and helpful. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Soups are scrumptious. Great place to pick up dinner.

The staff seem like they are miserable most visits. Not at all enthusiastic or helpful and that's a huge concern and disappointment. I will still go when I need a meal that is prepared or a smoothie or to pick up things I need from a grocery store but can't get to one. It is convenient and like I mentioned before the food isn't bad.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would have!! We waited forever for food. The food came out 1item at a time. When the 4th order came out, it wasn't even what we had ordered. When we brought it to their attention, they could have cared less. The customer service was atrocious. The only thing worse was the food itself, cold, flavorless, and the so called turkey bacon was not edible. We paid $62 for garbage. They probably won't care about this review, as there is not much in this area, but take it from us, drive a little further to get quality food. If you need groceries, go to IGA; they have everything you need, and they are courteous.
